With the fallout coming ahead of Tyson's fight, fans speculated if it was a PR stunt to promote the match.
Hitting back, Paris said: 'Everyone's saying it is a social media stunt and it's not.
'It's a family rift that's going on at the moment and I hope they resolve it because I think there's nothing more important than your family.
'I know they love each other deeply deep down and for whatever reason whether it be pride, or whatever – they have an issue, his dad has an issue.
'And I hope they can resolve it.'
Tyson recently broke his silence on his feud with his father, admitting it stemmed from the fact his father wanted him to retire after he beat Deontay Wilder in 2020.
Paris continued: 'Tyson knew his dad had certain feelings to people in the camp and he, he's always said I am my own man and I'll do things my own way, and he has always done that.

'And that this is where he's got for it, so he looks at it like I've done my own choices all my life.
'His dad's had opinions on different things he shouldn't have done in the past and he's done and it's went unbelievably well.
'He It's the best trilogy in boxing history.'
John told the Daily Mail earlier this month: 'My relationship with Tyson is destroyed'.
He continued: 'But, don't forget who built his story when he was a kid. He didn't build it himself, did he? Me, his father.'

Meanwhile, during the same interview with Jamie Laing, Paris said she experiences 'dark thoughts' about dying young.
She said: 'I've always had a thought that I will get an illness and die young. That's a thought I've always had. And that's a really weird dark thought, isn't it?'

Opening up about Tyson's mental health battles and his attempted suicide, Paris said she contemplated leaving him.
'There'd be times when I'd look and think I can't deal with this. I don't want to deal with this. But, you know, again, it was sickness and in health.'
When Jamie asked if her vows had kept her, Paris said: 'It wasn't just that. It was I loved Tyson. I say it and I feel like pure cringe, but I do. And that's it. I love my husband.'
Paris also praised Tyson for speaking about his battles and raising awareness of the silent killer.
She gushed: 'I know he's helped a lot of men out there by talking about what he's been through, his addiction, his problems, you know, everything.
'Sometimes what we sort of forget during that time is we look at the person who is the person who's suffering, who's the person going through that mental health, whatever that may be, that depression, that anxiety, whatever it is. But we forget about the butterfly effect. The people are also affected.'
