Turns out the 58-year-old Baywatch alum enjoyed a six-month fling with Lois & Clark alum Dean Cain in 1993.
‘That candle burned hot and short,’ the life-long bachelor – turning 59 this Thursday – confirmed to Variety on Monday.
‘She wanted to be with the rock-star kind of guy, and that’s not me.’
Dean only has ‘fond memories of’ Pamela, who went on to marry Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee in 1995 just four days after they met at WeHo nightclub Sanctuary.
Three years later, the couple – whose honeymoon sex tape was stolen from their safe and released – divorced but remain co-parents of sons Brandon, 29; and Dylan, 27.

On Sunday, Anderson beamed as she posed beside the 73-year-old Irishman at the New York premiere of The Naked Gun, and they’ve been ‘enjoying each other’s company.’
‘It’s a budding romance in the early stages,’ a source told People on Monday.
‘It’s sincere, and it’s clear they’re smitten with each other.’
Earlier this month, the Golden Globe nominee gushed to EW: ‘I think I have a friend forever in Liam. We definitely have a connection that is very sincere, very loving. He’s a good guy.’
Pamela and Liam bonded over their shared ‘love of literature and a good laugh’ and she regularly left cookies, muffins, and homebaked sourdough bread in his dressing room while on set.
The feeling was definitely mutual for Neeson, who gushed to People last October: ‘I’m madly in love with her. No huge ego. She just comes in to do the work. She’s funny and so easy to work with. She’s going to be terrific in the film.’
The Oscar-nominated actor has been single since ending his two-year relationship with Freya St. Johnston following the tragic loss of his wife Natasha Richardson, at age 45, from a traumatic brain injury in 2009.
