Paloma Faith has broken her silence after she left her six year marriage amid claims her ex-husband Lyman Lahcine ‘cheated’ on her.
The singer, 42, has opened up about her separation for the first time, confirming rumours that Lyman was disloyal to her.
The mother-of-two, who married the French artist, 36, in 2017, hit out at the Lyman as she reflected on their split.
Speaking to The Sun, Paloma said: ‘I’ll never be perfect so if that’s what you want, go find someone else that you’ll cheat on. Be boring.
‘It’s never boring with me. Maybe annoying, maybe irritating, maybe stressful. But not boring.’

Ahead of her new single How You Leave A Man, Paloma, who has since moved on with new boyfriend Andrew Soar, also revealed she had to ask Lyman for permission as the single includes pointed digs towards him.
Speaking about her new track in relation to her break-up, Paloma added: ‘I had a choice. I could disappear into my melancholy or I wear it as a badge of honour. The album is about taking responsibility for your own happiness.’
The singer has also revealed that one of the tracks on the album called Divorce, is the ‘hardest to hear’ for her.
Paloma went on to add that despite her painful break-up, she has had to ‘rip of the plaster’ to remain strong for her children, as she still has to face Lyman on the regular.
The hitmaker has two daughters, aged five and two, with Lyman.

Ahead of the new single, the first in three years, the singer shared a hilarious clip to Instagram.
Dressed in her typical retro style, Paloma wore a green satin shirt with a lace trim and a matching midi skirt.

Paloma then marched up to the front door before opening the letter box and screaming through it.

‘You are dead to me!’ she shouted before smiling and walking away.
The musician captioned the funny update: ‘Paloma Faith’s tips on How You Leave A Man in the most dignified and tranquil way possible.’

Paloma finally confirmed that she had split from partner of nine years Leyman at the beginning of August.
The couple began dating in early 2013 and are said to have married secretly in 2017.
