Under some pressure from her mother, Pam Oakes-Ash, Paloma said she is pushing for her to make the jump so she can spend the summer holidays at home.

Paloma continued: ‘She’s like, ‘You’ve had kids, you’ve done the pop star thing. Go and do PGCE [teacher training] because then you can have the same holidays as your kids’.
‘I’m considering it. I just might put one more record out.’
Elsewhere in the podcast, Paloma also opened up on the breakdown of her marriage to French artist Leyman, 36.
She believes resentment was why her near decade-long partnership came to an end.
The singing sensation said: ‘Resentment, because there was disparity, I think, between what I put into it and him.
‘But I say on the album, there is a spoken bit, where I say I know it is my fault.’
Paloma announced the shocking split in November 2022.
According to The Sun, the Only Love Can Hurt Like This singer confirmed she was single at Jonathan Ross’ 2022 Halloween party, where she was the ‘life and soul of the bash’.

A source also told the publication: ‘Paloma and Leyman have ended their relationship and she is very much single.’
‘Things between Paloma and Leyman became strained over the past year and they’re no longer together – although they co-parent their children together.’
The source claimed that Paloma seemed happy and upbeat at Jonathan’s Halloween bash, despite the heartbreak.
‘Everyone was pleased to see her so happy after a tough few months,’ they added.
The couple began dating in early 2013 and reportedly married secretly in 2017 after they welcomed two daughters, aged eight.
MailOnline reached out to representatives of Paloma for comment at the time.
Rumours of a split have started to swirl after the pair stopped following each other on Instagram, and at the start of 2022 the actress announced that she was in the middle of a personal life crisis.
Paloma has previously defended her choice to keep her children ‘out of the public eye’ as she juggles her career with parenthood.

In an interview with SheerLuxe, she said: ‘I’m quite spontaneous but parenthood has taken a lot of that away. I’ve surrendered to it now, because I know having children was my choice, but I also know the notion of ‘having it all’ is a complete illusion.
Paloma explained that for mothers, balancing a career with parenting can be ’emotionally difficult’ due to ‘guilt’ and requires ‘sacrifices’.
She continued: ‘I don’t believe in gender specific toys or clothing. I mean, I don’t wear a dress every day so why shouldn’t I let my child wear what they want or play with toys they like?
‘If either of my children came to me unsure of their gender, I’d be supportive. It’s such a complicated issue, and I don’t know that I’d encourage a full sex change before the age of 21, but I’d want to encourage them to embrace who they are.’
Paloma added that she didn’t want to ‘perpetuate stereotypes’ as she joked that it was important for both a man and woman to hoover the home.
