Paige Turley has insisted she and Finn Tapp’s relationship was completely real and they didn’t break up just to get on Ex On The Beach.
The Love Island winners found love on the first winter series of the dating show in 2020 and went on to live together.
However the couple split last April after three years after realising they ‘weren’t forever’.
But after some time apart the pair rekindled their relationship after both taking part in MTV’s Ex On The Beach which is currently airing.
Speaking exclusively to the Mail’s Straight To The Comments podcast, Paige, 26, hit back at speculation the breakup was all for the cameras.

‘No, I wish I did, to be honest – less traumatic!’ she told hosts Archie Manners and Josh Pieters.
Josh replied: ‘I’m not gonna lie, Paige, that wasn’t the most convincing answer I’ve ever heard on this podcast.
Paige said: ‘But like, this is what I don’t understand. How they can write this kind of stuff, where are they getting it from? Why would somebody pretend to break up?
‘I think people think we’re together now, let me rest assure, we’re not.’
Backing up her point that the breakup was real, Paige insisted she forked out a pretty penny on removal vans when she moved out of the flat she shared with Finn in Manchester.
She said: ‘Do you know what though, in my mind, I was living in Manchester, and I moved to Glasgow. Do you know how f*****g expensive removal men are?
‘The money that I get from Ex on the Beach isn’t even going to cover the one guy, and I needed three!’
However it looks like it wasn’t meant to be for the pair as they have not rekindled their romance for good.

Paige said: ‘I think people think we’re together now, let me rest assure, we’re not’
Asked how her relationship with Finn is now, Paige replied: ‘Erm… amicable.’
Insiders said Finn was heard telling co-stars at the Celebrity Ex On The Beach launch that he and Paige were giving things another go as they ‘still want to be together’.
He said: ‘It feels longer than it has been since we broke up. Obviously the time we had together all I look back on it is it was a very verygood time of my life. It was not my sole decision to end it and if it was up to me six months ago I think we would still be together. Yeah we will see.
Paige added: ‘There wasn’t really a reason we never had the conversation that we were over. Sometime I feel like he struggles to communicate with me and I’m glad to see him but I don’t want to go back to that place where I feel half of something.’
A source told The Sun: ‘Finn was overheard chatting to pals at the Celebrity Ex On The Beach launch earlier this week, where he told them he and Paige are giving things another go.
‘The truth is, neither of them properly moved on after their split and they realised while filming the MTV reality show that there were still a lot of feelings there.
‘After filming wrapped, they had a big heart to heart and decided they still wanted to be together. They’re taking it slowly, as they obviously had issues before splitting, but they’re committed to making it work this time.’
MailOnline contacted representatives of Finn and Paige at the time.
Asked how her relationship with Finn is now, Paige replied: ‘Erm… amicable’
The rumours caused fans to believe that Paige and Finn faked their split to get on the reality show.
‘So they went on another reality show with a sob story, made their money then hay presto their back together….; Paige and Finn only ended so they could go on ex on the beach, apparently it was just a fake break up; Prob just a gimmick 2 get more viewers; It was a ploy to get on a TV show again’.
While others said they were ‘gutted’ the couple had ended and hoped the pair have actually rekindled their relationship.
The pair didn’t confirm their split until June 2023, with Paige saying that they’d ‘drifted apart’.
