Then she listed, 'Blowout dance party for her friends, a mom/daughter girls trip in sunny Miami for a few days, and then a birthday/belated ramen fest with cousins, aunties, and uncles at home in sweats!'

Lakshmi joked, 'For her 17th year I think I’m just gonna leave her alone! (Her suggestion, not mine. UGH!)'

Krishna's birthday was February 20, and her mom gushed in an earlier post, 'SIXTEEN YEARS OLD! Can you believe it? Officially not #littlehands anymore. Happy birthday my sweet girl.'

The trio appeared in a rare photo together on social media as they celebrated their daughter's middle school graduation in 2024.

The high school sophomore explained, 'I think she's a survivor and I think my mom's had... from when you were born, the cards have not been in your favor.

'And I think you've made something of yourself... You're a survivor and you do what you need to to get where you need to be, and I admire that about you.'
