Orlando Bloom ‘revels in his single status as he rings in his 49th birthday with a wild party and three hours of dancing at a swanky private members club in Aspen’

Orlando Bloom reportedly celebrated his 49th birthday with a wild party featuring some of Hollywood’s finest at a swanky private members club in Aspen.

The actor is newly-single following his split from fiancée Katy Perry last year, and made the most of the evening by spending the night dancing at the ritzy Caribou Club in Colorado.

Sources revealed Orlando was seen on the dancefloor with socialite Jamie Tisch, who is married to billionaire and New York Giants owner Steve Tisch, and a group of pals.

Hours earlier, the venue hosted a dinner earlier for AspenOut, a non profit benefiting the LGBTQIA+ (Q+) community, with the members-only club then hosting an unofficial after party well into the early hours.

Onlookers said Orlando was ‘the life of the party’, and described the crowd of guests as ‘elbow-to-elbow elite gays from Hollywood, Palm Beach and New York’ who headed to Aspen for Gay Ski Week.

They said: ‘He was on the dance floor for like three hours and led a conga line. He’s a good dancer, arms up, fist-pumping like a guy from New Jersey.’

‘People were sending him shots left and right. He was in full celebration of his birthday,’ they told Page Six.

The publication reported that among the guests in attendance were Queer Eye for the Straight Guy’s Thom Felcia, Bryan Lourd’s hubby Bruce Bozzi, producer and Aspen Snow Ball founder Thomas Pierce, Bravo star Rene Fris, and Barry’s Bootcamp Executive Chairman Joey Gonzalez.

Orlando had previously been a regular at the Aspen slopes, having spent a period there with his now-ex Katy Perry every year for the past decade.

Daily Mail has contacted a representative for Orlando Bloom for comment.

It comes after Katy made her romance with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau Instagram official, with the pair posing for a cosy selfie together during their trip to Japan.. 

Back in June of this year, it was revealed that the singer had officially separated from Bloom. 

The former couple began dating in 2016 and became engaged three years later – with their daughter being born in August 2020. 

Representatives for Perry and Bloom previously told DailyMail.com at the time that, ‘Orlando and Katy have bee shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on co-parenting. 

‘They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is – and always will be – raising their daughter with love, stability, and mutual respect.’ 

A few months later, Bloom broke his silence on the split during an interview on the Today show in September. 

‘I’m great, man. I’m so grateful. We have the most beautiful daughter,’ he said while also talking about his film titled The Cut. 

‘You know, when you leave everything on the field, like I did in this movie, I feel grateful for all of it. And we’re great. We’re going to be great. It’s nothing but love.’

And earlier this month, the actor got candid about what he is looking for in a ‘partner’ while talking to the street style account The People Gallery on TikTok.

At one point, the star was questioned whether he would prefer to date someone with either ‘style or funds.’ 

However, Bloom simply replied with, ‘Both,’ before adding with a laugh, ‘You have to pick one of those?’

The father-of-two then offered advice to those that were going through a ‘hard time.’

The Lord Of The Rings alum shared, ‘Take action, get up, [make a] routine, do whatever. Get into your body, get out of your head if you’re in your head. Keep creating.’ 

Perry has since moved on with Trudeau – whom she was first seen with in July as they grabbed dinner in Montreal during the Canadian leg of her Lifetimes Tour.

The former prime minister of Canada split from wife Sophie Grégoire Trudeau in 2023 following 18 years of marriage and welcoming three children together. 

In October, the couple went public with their romance as they held hands during a night out in Paris to celebrate Perry’s 41st birthday. 

Last year, it was said that the Firework singer is ‘having a lot of fun’ with Trudeau amid their new relationship. 

‘Justin keeps making a big effort to see her and she’s excited about it. [She has] a lot of fun with him. It’s exactly what she needs right now,’ a source told People. 

The politician is also ‘happier’ since being romantically linked to Katy. 

‘Stresses are greatly diminished. And he is intrigued with Katy. They have fun together, laugh a lot, talk about everything.’
