But Sam Quek has told how she has spent years struggling with ‘mum guilt’ – a term she is urging other mothers to banish.
The former sportswoman, 35, whose children are Molly, two, and Zac, one, said the negativity surrounding the popular phrase makes mothers feel that they are not good enough.
Some 95 per cent of UK mothers experience ‘mum guilt’, according to research by supplements company Haliborange.
The term refers to the emotions many mothers have when going back to work after having a baby and feeling like they are not spending enough time at home.

Ms Quek who is now a team captain on BBC’s A Question of Sport, said she does not ‘regret’ going back to work two months after giving birth to Zac last year but faced judgment from the public.
But she told the Mail: ‘[Some] 95 per cent of UK mums suffer from mum guilt on a daily basis, that’s a huge number and mum guilt isn’t what I think is a very positive conversation.
‘It tends to be things that you haven’t done, what you need to do, what you could have done better.
‘I was one of them and we all have this in common.’
Ms Quek launched a TV career after winning a gold medal as a member of England’s hockey squad at Rio 2016.
