The half-Chinese beauty revealed on March 13 that she had been diagnosed (via MRI) with luminal B breast cancer back in April 2023, and she’s undergone several surgeries including a double mastectomy and a hysterectomy.
Olivia and her husband – three-time Emmy winner John Mulaney – now have two healthy embryos following her final egg retrieval, which will someday create a sibling for their two-year-old son Malcolm Hiệp Mulaney.
‘This journey has made me realize how grateful I am to have options for not only fighting cancer, but also having more children if we want,’ Munn told Vogue in May.
‘Because I know a lot of people don’t have those options.’
Erica is survived by her mother Diann Phillips Ash, sister Adrienne Nichole Ash, father Donald Ash, brother Donald B. Ash, brother Derrick Ash, as well as her dogs Toa and Tao.
‘After a long and courageous battle with cancer, she transitioned peacefully surrounded by her loved ones,’ Diann told TMZ on Monday.
‘Erica was an amazing woman and talented entertainer who touched countless lives with her sharp wit, humor, and genuine zest for life. Her memory will live eternally in our hearts. In honor of Erica’s memory, the family asks that any donations be made to the Susan G. Komen Cancer Foundation or the Breast Cancer Foundation of your choice. We are grateful for the kind expressions of love and support during this difficult time.’
