Olivia Culpo had a strict guest policy at her wedding to Christian McCaffrey.

The 32-year-old recently shared why her older sister, Aurora Culpo’s boyfriend Paul Bernon, was ‘not invited’ to her Saturday nuptials, per Page Six.

The 35-year-old called Olivia’s decision ‘rude’ on the Wednesday episode of her Barely Filtered podcast, to which the model clapped back, ‘No, [it’s] rude to invite somebody I’ve never met.’

News broke days before the Rhode Island ceremony that Aurora is dating Bethenny Frankel’s ex-fiancé – a month after his split from the former Real Housewives star was announced.

Later in the episode – which was recorded before Olivia’s wedding – Aurora tried taking a different approach, asking the former Miss USA winner whether her ‘friend’ could join her.

But that, too, was a no-go for Olivia, as she labeled Paul the ‘flavor of the month.’

She quipped: ‘Not interested.’

Olivia did, however, have a message for Paul himself.

‘Sorry, it’s not a reflection of you,’ the newlywed clarified. ‘It’s a reflection of my sister.’

Despite Paul not scoring a formal invitation to the ceremony, he did participate in the pre-wedding festivities, according to US Weekly.

Aurora and Paul first sparked romance rumors in June, with a source telling US Weekly that the influencer and real estate developer ‘have been dating for over two months now. He moved on very quickly after Bethenny.’

‘Her family has met him and thinks he’s a really nice, ‘normal’ guy,’ the insider continued. ‘They have a lot in common with him being from Boston and Aurora from an area nearby. Aurora has been spending time in Boston with him recently.’

They added that the podcast host and Paul ‘met online’ and ‘also had mutual friends, so it worked out.’

Aurora was previously married to Mikey Bortone for three years before the two divorced in 2022. The exes share a son, Remi, five, and a daughter Solei, three.

Last year, Aurora took a moment to discuss becoming a single mom.

‘I’ve been trying to maximize my natural stress support skills like sleeping and working out with supplements,’ the Culpo Sisters star said during a conversation with People.

‘It’s one step at a time. And I think what I’ve realized is that you have to be able to understand when something is just stressful because it’s situational and that everything will pass.’

Aurora shared that in the midst of her divorce, she now takes it ‘one day at a time, optimizing my health.’

‘The thing is, no matter what’s going on in your life – whether it’s something as big as a divorce or you’re just stressing and you don’t really know why – doing the things that are best for your health,’ she continued, ‘and how you function are of irreplaceable value.’

The most crucial part for the mom-of-two is putting things into perspective.

‘I like to remind myself that Rome wasn’t built in a day, and if you ever are feeling overwhelmed by a decision or have an off feeling about something, the best thing to do is take a step back, to take a break to even take a bath,’ she admitted. ‘For me, I like to take a bath. The actual grounding of being in the water is really helpful for me. I also do cold therapy, I go to hot yoga. I find that usually if the solution doesn’t present itself, I at least am in a better mind state to make decisions that are hard.’

But along with Aurora’s bond with Remi and Solei, the little ones are ‘getting into the age where they really enjoy time with each other.’

‘It’s nice because I can be a little more hands-off and watch them interact with each other and learn from each other,’ the television personality added. ‘They’re learning so much about patience, sharing, problem-solving and conflict resolution. It’s nice to watch a 4 and 2-year-old in very simple terms explain how to share, how to be kind. It’s just a gentle reminder for yourself, it’s all applicable throughout life.’

Shedding light on her parenting style, Aurora noted, ‘I know when to check myself and I do know how to get the results. Consistency is the key. You have to show up every day with the same rules. Trying to give an explanation to a 2 and a 4-year-old about ‘why’ is not always the easiest, but being consistent, kind but firm, those are tools that I’ve taken with me.’

The Rhode Island also has the support of her family, including sisters Olivia and Sophia, 27, and brothers Gus, 28, and Pete, 36.

‘It’s really nice to have my sisters be so close with my kids because it’s just more love for them,’ she gushed to the outlet. ‘And it’s interesting to see their dynamic, too, because I’m the only one with kids. I can’t wait until my sisters have kids. It’s a special thing to be able to see people that you love loving each other.’

As for Paul, the businessman met Bethenny on a dating app in 2018 before briefly splitting in October 2020.

The two rekindled months later, with Paul popping the question in the Florida Keys in 2021.

However, in June 2023, the Bravo alum admitted that a traditional wedding was out of the question.

‘I’m never gonna plan a wedding,’ Bethenny said on Today with Hoda & Jenna, noting that the pair were already married in their minds.

‘We love each other. We’re great life partners,’ she added. ‘We are married. I just don’t want to go through what everyone else wants us to do.’

However, a year later, the exes called it quits for good after six years together.

Bethenny then celebrated her new beginning over Memorial Day weekend.

‘New summer, new home, new chapter…,’ she wrote on Instagram. ‘May your Memorial Day be filled with meaning, family, memories and love. Be present, laugh and don’t take yourself too seriously… love you!’
