The stars of House of Dragon gathered at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City on Monday to celebrate the season 2 premiere of the hit show.

Olivia Cooke, 30, who plays Queen Alicent Hightower, wowed in a striking blue high-neck gown with daring cut-outs on the sides.

Her non-binary co-star Emma D’Arcy, 31, who stars as her onscreen rival Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen, looked edgy in a shimmering black coat worn over a white button-up with a black tie.

Matt Smith, 41, who portrays the ruthless and fiercely loyal Prince Daemon Targaryen, looked dapper is a black vintage-inspired suit with a baby blue button-up and white tie underneath.

House Of The Dragon — a prequel to Game of Thrones — follows the feud between Alicent and Rhaenyra as they vie for who will eventually rule from the Iron Throne. The highly-anticipated eight episode second season will debut on Max on June 16.

Cooke completed the stylish look with a thick black belt featuring a gold buckle.

Her dark tresses were swept back for the occasion.

She accessorized with gold earrings and drew attention to her magnetic eyes with black eyeliner.

Meanwhile D’Arcy — who uses they/them pronouns — finalized their outfit with a pair of black pants and pointed-toe boots.

The entertainer’s blonde tresses were slicked back with gel for a wet look.

As for glam, the star opted for a minimal look, accentuating their features with just a touch of gloss.

Smith sported a white pocket handkerchief to match his tie. His dark tresses were gelled down to the side.

Daemon is Queen Rhaenyra’s uncle, before becoming her second husband later in the show, with their marriage strengthening her claim to the Iron Throne.

Last month fans were given another action-packed glimpse into season two.

In a new trailer for the next chapter of the Game of Thrones prequel, Matt, Emma, and Olivia are all seen returning for what is certain to be another dramatic season.

‘The Targaryen who sits the Iron Throne is not just a king or a queen. They are a protector of the realm,’ Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen (D’Arcy) is heard contemplating at the start of the trailer.

‘Now I find myself in an impossible position,’ Rhaenyra continues.

As King Aegon II Targaryen (Tom Glynn-Carney) approaches his throne, D’Arcy muses, ‘The enemy usurped my throne.’

Rhaenyra peruses a collection of swords before confidently brandishing one.

Meanwhile, at a tense meeting, King Aegon asks as he casually points his knife about to the others, ‘What are we going to do about it?’

‘Proceed cautiously,’ Queen Alicent Hightower (Cooke) recommends sternly.

‘F**k dignity!’ Aegon suddenly shouts, before adding with a cooler tone, ‘I want revenge.’

As soldiers prepare for battle, Daemon is seen musing, ‘I did not think they would be so eager to die.’

‘The realm’s only hope is in a leader strong enough to unite it,’ Daemon observes at one point as he rides a dragon.

In a powerful moment, Rhaenyra asks Daemon: ‘Do you accept me as your queen and ruler?’ A long pause follows.

The trailer teases action-packed battle scenes as the civil war continues.

‘War is coming,’ Rhaenyra breathlessly observes. ‘And neither of us may win.’
