's reality show The Heat has reportedly been axed after just one series after failing to impress in the ratings.

The presenter, 35, has been cementing herself as one of 's biggest stars, fronting her own shows Getting Filthy Rich and The Price Of Perfection.

Olivia joined forces with chef Jean-Christophe Novelli in February to host the Love Island-inspired cooking show, which sees 10 budding cooks living together in Barcelona while working in a restaurant in .

Sources are now claiming that given the show's vast budget, it struggled to win over viewers to warrant a second series, with average audience ratings of just 72,000 an episode.

It marks the first of Olivia's shows to fail to land a second run, though the star still has a string of hits, including her own reality show Bad Boyfriends, and her job as a panellist on .

A source said: 'The Heat showed a lot of promise but given that it was a long series and it was filmed abroad, and featured two big names fronting it, the show was not cheap to make.'

They went on to tell The Sun: 'So it had to serve up some seriously meaty ratings, which it just didn't achieve. But competition in TV is particularly stiff right now.'

A representative for ITV told the publication: 'There are no plans for a second series of The Heat but audiences can watch the first series on ITVX.'

The Daily Mail has contacted a representative for the channel for comment. 

It comes after Olivia recently added even more to her growing bank balance by signing a seven-figure deal with a beauty brand.

It's yet another addition to her growing portfolio alongside campaigns for Maybelline, Garnier and River Island.

Alongside a lengthy list of brand deals, Olivia also fronts her own podcast Olivia's House, and the star recently launched her bid to crack America by promoting her show Stateside.

A source told The Sun: 'Olivia's LOOKFANTASTIC deal is worth a high seven figures and she also signed an exclusive deal with La Roche Posay as part of it.

'Olivia loves the brand and they love working with her so it's a perfect fit. She's got so many deals on the table right now'.

A representative for declined to comment when contacted by The Daily Mail.

Olivia had previously shared her hopes of launching a career Stateside during an interview with Daily Mail, after her series Getting Filthy Rich and The Price Of Perfection were picked up by Disney+.

She said: 'Love Island is huge in America, the UK one so I feel really lucky there was already quite a large US audience on my Instagram, they are definitely happy to have the shows available, also in Australia as well.

'I'm very happy with my career as it is right now. I mean I've had offers, I'm not looking to jump ship right now, but yes, at some point I'm sure we'll do something over there.'
