Olivia Attwood has spoken for the first time over her feud with Maura Higgins and insists she’s not in competition with anyone.
The documentary maker, 33, who last year had all three of her ITV shows recommissioned by the broadcaster, told MailOnline: ‘No one can outwork me… They can try but they won’t succeed.’
In an exclusive interview, the former Love Island star revealed her ‘blueprint’ for success cannot be replicated and she isn’t threatened by anyone attempting to follow the same career path.
MailOnline exposed their secret rift last year after Olivia accused 2019 Islander Maura, 34, of using the ‘same script’ including her reasons for entering the ITV2 dating show – ‘revenge on an ex.’
Her comments came as Maura starred on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, two years after Olivia had to suddenly leave the Australian jungle due to medical reasons.
And now after Maura told her followers she is considering starting her own podcast, even more comparisons could be made between them, as Olivia is already the host of So Wrong It’s Right, which hit No1 in the charts after it launched last February.

But the presenter, whose documentary series Getting Filthy Rich returns with six new episodes on Sunday, isn’t looking over her shoulder.
She said: ‘Without sounding arrogant, I don’t feel like I’m in competition with anyone. I am relentlessly insane, no one can outwork me. They can try but they won’t succeed.
‘What I have done no one else has done. I have managed to exist in the reality space, I have made these documentaries, I am on my third commission.
‘Anyone else that would like to follow the same career path, they have quite a lot of catching up to do. I feel very comfortable at this point in my life and my position with ITV.
‘My shows all have my name on them so it’s not like someone can come and take my job because they’re made for me. I feel very secure.
‘There’s space for lots of people to achieve things in this industry. There’s room for everyone and what I have done is an original, the blueprint I have followed, I have created it as I have gone along and it’s not something you can copy.
‘It sounds really arrogant, but I am doing this thing people told me I couldn’t do, reality TV and documentaries, and people said if I did docs I could never host a dating show, well actually, the rules given to you in this industry aren’t real rules, rules can be broken.’
Olivia, who starred on Love Island in 2017, is now the host of her own reality series Bad Boyfriends, which returns for a second season later this year.

Now happily married, Loose Woman Olivia has taken on the role of whipping the nation’s non-committal and unappreciative boyfriends into shape
The show’s premise was born out of her experiences after she signed up for Love Island to get revenge on footballer Bradley Dack, 31, who had misbehaved by two timing her in the early days of their romance.
Now happily married, Olivia has taken on the role of whipping the nation’s non-committal and unappreciative boyfriends into shape.
She said: ‘This year is so exciting, to have that hat trick of recommissions was just incredible, I felt like I was dreaming when I heard that.
‘Getting the first commission of any format is amazing but, in this climate, recommissions almost feel like bigger validation.
‘I learned so much from the first series and we already know how to grow it and make it bigger and better.
‘We floated the idea of Bad Girlfriends for this return but we felt like it makes sense to go back to the bo
yfriends because it’s easier to find bad boys, it’s funny that isn’t it.’
Olivia’s triple whammy, which also includes her programme about cosmetic procedures The Price of Perfection, sees her return with Getting Filthy Rich, her show about selling sex online.
The star has teased this is the most shocking series yet as she delves into the world of cosplay, where couples dress as fictional characters for pleasure, financial domination or as its’s known FinDom, a fetish lifestyle in which people get a kick out of giving away their money, and the OnlyFans 1 per cent club, exploring the richest earners on the adult content platform.

After going from sunning herself in the Love Island villa wearing skimpy bikinis to fronting her own documentaries, Olivia says there’s not a moment she isn’t appreciative of her journey
Olivia said: ‘We’re back with six completely new subjects. It’s very balanced with a bit of humour and lightness with an immersive feel.
‘When I see rough edits, I question whether we can even put this on TV. I thought I had seen it all before, but this series shocked me to my core.
‘The subjects are much more unusual and they’re very niche, I didn’t know this side of the industry existed until now. It was eye-opening.
‘The sex I have become accustomed to but it’s the content around it like cosplay is just wild.’
After going from sunning herself in the Love Island villa wearing skimpy bikinis to fronting her own explorative documentaries, Olivia says there’s not a moment she isn’t appreciative of her journey and how far she’s come.
Reflecting on her career, Olivia said: ‘Documentary making is not glamorous, covering stories takes time, it’s laborious, there’s a lot of waiting around in crew vans, it’s not the glamorous side of TV but it’s so rewarding.
‘You are right there in it with the story and there’s something so humbling about meeting people that lead extraordinary lives, and they don’t know me but they’re willing to share personal, deep things with me and it feels like a huge privilege.’
