Olivia Attwood and Bradley Dack Sell £1M Cheshire Mansion; No Relationship Issues

Olivia Attwood and Bradley Dack’s house move is ‘nothing to do with relationship issues’ despite admission over ‘challenges’ in their marriage.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Mail, insiders revealed that the Love Island star’s announcement that they are set to leave their £1million Cheshire mansion for logistical issues involved in their London-based careers.

Speaking about news of the sale, the source said: ‘The house move is purely so that Olivia and Bradley can be in London. Owning their Cheshire home when they are both based in the capital now is completely pointless.’

Olivia’s extensive workload includes appearances on This Morning and Loose Women, her many documentaries, presenting Bad Boyfriends and more, while Bradley signed for Kent team Gillingham last year.

Despite the insistence, the couple have faced trying times after Olivia raised eyebrows when she was pictured cosying up to her pal Pete Wicks in Ibiza – after which she admitted she could understand why the images made her husband ‘upset’.

Olivia’s work, which she admits consumes her time, is mainly based in the south meaning she travels extensively. The source said: ‘Olivia was spending hours each week on the train going back and forth, which made no sense whatsoever…

‘They only moved to Cheshire in the first place because Bradley played for Blackburn Rovers and of course Olivia wanted to be with him there. But now he plays near London, it doesn’t make sense for them to own a house in Cheshire.’

The celebrity couple’s relationship has been the subject of intense speculation in recent weeks, and while Olivia admits that it’s not always easy to find time for each other in their busy schedules, she’s denied that they’re on the cusp of a break-up.

Olivia, 34, told The Sun: ‘If I had something to say, I’d be saying it on my own [Instagram] story. All the gossip and stuff – people message me and go, ‘Oh, have you seen this?’ And, I do, but I’m quite disconnected from that stuff.’

She acknowledges that she’s struggled to find a healthy work-life balance over the last 12 months. However, she isn’t looking for any sympathy from the public, admitting that she’s in an envious position in life.

The TV star – who has presented documentaries in recent years – said: ‘At the minute, in the last year, there’s been no balance at all. I don’t say that in a way of trying to get my violin out. It’s been a conscious decision.

‘I think that, when you want something quite extraordinary, you have to do the work. You have to show up, and that’s what I’ve been doing. But I wouldn’t be lying if I said it doesn’t have an impact. Of course it does…

‘And me and Brad are in a place right now where we’re trying to work out how we can connect better. Because I give a lot of myself to this job…

‘So, when I come back home in the evening, there’s not much of me left. So, we are thinking at the moment of how we can have that time together. Even if it’s a dog walk and we don’t take our phones with us.

Aside from the relationship issues previously discusssed by Olivia, their long-term plans have been laid out – with the move coming in the wake of a burglary.

In July, Olivia revealed the house was broken into while she was away working in Spain, but the burglary was thwarted by her private security team.

The insider added: ‘The plan is for them to get a bigger place in London for the time being and then buy a long-term property in Surrey.

‘The burglary obviously didn’t help matters either. Olivia and Brad are spending a fortune on security, and most of the time the house sits empty.

‘This has nothing to do with any relationship issues, it’s purely logistical, and they’re planning for their future.’

Olivia told The Sun: ‘That’s our family home in Cheshire, but we’re not in it. So, we’ve been umming and ahh-ing, because we’re both kind of emotionally holding onto that house. We love it so much.

‘It’s just that Cheshire doesn’t work for us anymore because we’re not there.’

In July, Olivia furiously hit out at the ‘scumbag’ thieves who broke into her house, claiming at the time that they were ‘tracking’ the property.

Taking to social media, Olivia said: ‘So obviously I can’t go into too much detail because it’s an open investigation now.

‘But some scumbags basically smashed a second-floor window, went in, and the security team got the notification within, like, 30 seconds, and they were there within two minutes with dogs…

‘The little scumbags ran off. They got some stuff but they didn’t get what they came for, and now I have to just show face because it’s a really important work day and I’m feeling a bit tired and a little bit emosh, but yeah, brave face.’

She further explained: ‘We weren’t there and the dogs weren’t there. Obviously, if you know my dogs, the rescue Shepherd and Rottweiler, no one’s getting into my house and not getting out [killed] if my dogs are in there.

‘So these f*****g, like disgusting vermin, were obviously tracking the house, and they obviously went at a time they knew the dogs weren’t there, but they didn’t know that we had security with a dog team, so they came down so quickly, thank God.
