Although Alex Hall is no longer on speaking terms with Tyler Stanaland, she has some words for his ex-wife.
The Selling the OC star, 35, said Brittany Snow’s recent interview was ‘kind of hard for me to wrap my head around’ after the actress appeared to imply Stanaland, 34, cheated with Hall.
‘What bothered me about that interview is that other people took what she said and aimed it towards me,’ said Hall on the Almost Adulting podcast.
Snow, 38, previously said ‘what people think happened, happened’ on the Netflix reality show, after Stanaland and Hall sparked a romance around the time of their divorce.
Hall explained that ‘what bothered’ her about Snow’s interview is that ‘other people took what she said and aimed it towards me.’

‘It’s kind of hard for me to wrap my head around,’ she added.
The celeb realtor referenced ‘so many other altercations that happened throughout filming on our show with other women with this man, with Tyler.’
She referenced the season 1 incident in which Kayla Cardona allegedly tried to kiss Stanaland, as well as when he made out with Polly Brindle in season 2.
‘But when Brittany Snow comes out and makes these allegations on the show without naming any names, people automatically accuse me, which I just find odd,’ said Hall.
‘Because I feel like anybody who watches the show sees the progression of mine and Tyler’s relationship,’ she continued.
Snow and Stanaland announced their split in September 2022, shortly after the show debuted, along with his and Cardona’s drama.
‘I don’t think that there was infidelity in his marriage, no,’ Hall said. ‘But I do think that Tyler is very, very bad at setting boundaries, speaking up for himself and having a backbone.
‘And so I think Tyler gets put into situations where he’s not meaning to be an a**hole or a coward or a sh***y person, but he is because he doesn’t set boundaries,’ she added.
Although she acknowledged only hearing ‘one side’ of their marital drama, Hall said Stanaland announced to the cast ‘very early on’ that he and Snow were divorcing.
‘He basically came into filming saying — once we started all to become friends and confide in each other and trauma bonding — he told us, “Oh yeah, my wife said that we’re basically getting a divorce because I went on the show,”‘ she recalled.

After Hall and Stanaland explored their relationship during season 3, she recently said they ‘don’t speak’ at the moment
‘Not that anything was going on in season 1, but Tyler also acted like a very single man,’ added Hall.
Snow and Stanaland’s divorce was finalized in July 2023 following three years of marriage.
After Hall and Stanaland explored their relationship during season 3, she recently told People that they ‘don’t speak’ at the moment.
‘I’ve accepted it at this point. In the beginning, it was kind of confusing,’ she said earlier this month.
‘There were some revelations that surfaced right after we finished filming season 3,’ added Hall. ‘And so it gave me a lot more clarity and understanding of why he was behaving certain ways, and I was really able to have closure, because I could wrap my head around it.’
The first three seasons of Selling the OC are available to stream on Netflix.
