Oasis Offspring Anais Gallagher Calls Herself ‘Nepo-Girlfriend’ as Boyfriend Lands Her Film Jobs

As the only daughter of the Oasis star Noel Gallagher she has spent years fighting off accusations of nepotism.

But now Anais Gallagher, 25, has not only embraced her title as ‘nepo-baby’ but has also branded herself a ‘nepo-girlfriend’ after admitting her actor boyfriend gets her jobs on film sets.

The daughter of the Oasis guitarist and his ex-wife, Meghan Matthews, has been dating Welsh actor Callum Howells, 26, for almost three years after he starred in the Channel 4 series, It’s A Sin.

Posing on the cover of this month’s Grazia wearing a £880 coat, a pair of £325 jeans, a £130 grey top and a £135 scarf all from the French brand Longchamp, she admitted: ‘I jump from nepo baby to nepo girlfriend, he’s managed to get me jobs on his last two film sets.

‘We’re a massive part of each other’s lives. He and I see each other nearly every day. I’m such a champion of his work. I’ve been there every step of the way. I’m constantly running lines with him, things like that.’

Ms Gallagher is attempting to carve out a career path as a photographer and previously worked snapping her dad’s studio sessions and concerts with his band High Flying Birds last year.

Since she was a young teenager, she has been hounded with claims of nepotism, but Ms Gallagher said: ‘When I was younger, I was massively in denial. “No, my dad doesn’t help me.” Or, “I’m talented in my own right.” I pushed against it.

‘I’m not delusional about the fact that my dad has helped me out immensely. I never had to get a part-time job. If I needed a new camera, he would buy me one. I’m very lucky that not only have they given me such a comfortable life, but my parents are very cool. Lots of people have parents who are really rich and help [them] out, but they’re a horrible Tory politician or something. At least my dad is a cool dad.’

Ms Gallagher is currently following her dad and uncle, Liam Gallagher, on the Oasis world tour as she previously pledged to be at all of the 41 concerts.
