Oasis have shut down the rumours they are planning a return to Knebworth for 2026 after releasing extra dates on their highly-anticipated reunion tour.
The shows at the iconic venue in North Hertfordshire would have taken place 30 years after the rock band played two sold-out shows in 1996.
However, Liam and Noel Gallagher have shut down any rumours of a Knebworth show as they took to Twitter to set the record straight.
The statement read: ‘Contrary to reports in some UK tabloid media today, Oasis will not be playing Knebworth Park in the future.
‘There are no plans for any further UK dates beyond the currently announced UK stadium tour.’

Meanwhile Liam is going to be attending a ‘top secret’ night out with his brother Noel ahead of the upcoming Oasis reunion.
After ending their 15-year feud to reunite for the upcoming tour, the brothers seem to be getting on better than ever as Liam is preparing to meet up with Noel after he returns from his current trip in Malta.
Taking to Twitter, a fan asked Liam when he will be getting together with Noel again and the singer replied: ‘After Malta we’re going out for some food and drinks in London I can’t say where as it’s top secret.’
During the session on the social media site, Liam also had a bit of fun with his followers and seemingly shrugged off the Oasis ticket scandal.
When he was asked by a fan who much he would pay to see his favourite band of all time – The Beatles – he replied: ’80 quid at a push’
The sum is much less than the £355 some fans paid for Oasis tickets which were originally advertised for £148 in the sale before the introduction of dynamic pricing.
Following an outcry from fans over ticketing issues, Oasis announced two extra shows at London’s Wembley Stadium next summer which will be made available to all those who missed out on tickets in the original sale.
Disappointed fans were given the chance to enter a ballot in a bid to win a chance to buy tickets for the two shows in September 2025 and they will find out whether they have been successful on Friday.

Elsewhere, Liam’s youngest son Gene has told how he is to support Oasis for their sell-out reunion tour.
Gene, 23, has confided in friends that the indie rock group he fronts, Villanelle, will be one of ten warm-up acts when his dad, 51, and uncle Noel, 57, take to the stage next September.
An insider said: ‘Gene is supporting Oasis. He’s been telling a few people and he’s really excited. He loves playing with his dad and knows it will be huge for his music career.’
Villanelle are yet to be signed, although they will release their first single with an independent label in November.
But Gene, who is from Liam’s six-year marriage to the All Saints singer Nicole Appleton, previously said: ‘I want to be the biggest band in the world.’
