Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce may be pop culture’s hottest power couple – but numerology shows their love story might not equal happily ever after.
The superstar singer, who got engaged to her NFL beau last month, has been a long believer in the power of numbers, famously obsessed with the number 13 – her birthday – and even naming an album after her birth year, 1989.
During her appearance on the New Heights podcast with her fiancé in August, Taylor, 35, even went as far to say that her obsession with her lucky number is ‘part of the numerology of why we’re dating.’
But according to numerologist Glynis McCants, Travis and Taylor’s numerology charts don’t quite add up to a happy ending.
‘Taylor and Travis’s numbers not only explain their current relationship, but it can also reveal what they can do to help them live happily ever after,’ McCants told Daily Mail.
‘And I can’t help but be concerned about this couple. Taylor’s 7 Life Path and Travis’s 6 Life Path, are a huge challenge in Numerology.’

McCants bases her readings on the 2,500-year-old Pythagorean system, which she calls a Numerology ‘Blueprint.’
Each chart is made up of six single-digit numbers: three drawn from a person’s name (Soul, Personality, and Power Name) and three from their date of birth (Birth Day, Attitude, and the all-important Life Path, which reveals their true direction in life).
Taylor, born December 13, 1989, is a Life Path 7, while Travis, also 35 and born on October 5, 1989, is a Life Path 6 – two numbers that notoriously struggle to align in numerology.
The challenging energy is further intensified by the three repeating 7s in Taylor’s chart and the three repeating 6s in Travis’s.
‘The 6 Life Path needs to be in control,’ McCants explained. ‘The 6 male wants to be the king of their castle, and they need to have their queen.
‘But 7s like Taylor, while they are okay with partnerships, need their space and sometimes they just have to be alone.

‘As a 6 Life Path, if Travis does feel he’s losing control, he is going to want to talk about it… now,’ McCants said.
‘But as a 7 Life Path, when Taylor does not want to talk, she may shut down and go quiet. And that can cause a major riff.’
The pop superstar has been open about her belief in numerology. She has been seen scribbling the number 13 on her hand over the years and claims that the number always seems to follow her whenever success strikes.
Speaking on the podcast, Taylor also joked that adding her lucky 13 to Travis’s Chiefs jersey number, 87, equals 100 – proof to her that he was the right guy for her.
But McCants warns that, while the star’s reasoning is romantic, ‘that formula doesn’t really apply to numerology.’
The bestselling author who has appeared on Dr. Phil, Today, and The View, revealed that Travis and Taylor also share four ‘Challenge Numbers’ between them, indicating clashes in certain areas.
While these numbers can spark passion, it can also create communication breakdowns and emotional tension. The amount of Challenge Numbers will also determine whether they can go the distance.
‘When you have one or two Challenge Numbers, you can ‘agree to disagree,’ McCants said.
‘When you have three out of six, like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, you have to make a huge effort to keep the relationship healthy.
‘If you have four or more, you must ask yourself, is the relationship really worth it?’

‘In Taylor and Travis’s case, they do have four Challenge Numbers, so they definitely have their work cut out for them,’ McCants added.
Their birthdays highlight their differences as well. Travis, born on October 5, may be more spontaneous, while Taylor, whose December 13 birthday adds up to a 4, prefers planning and discipline.
‘[Travis] may decide he wants to take off and do something, and since Taylor was born on a 4 day, she likes structure, she will resist, insisting she has a list of things that she needs to get done,’ McCants said.
‘If she wants to get along with her new husband, Taylor is going to have to learn to go with the flow or at least bite her tongue to avoid conflict, if she wants to make him happy.’
McCants pointed to other risks associated with 5s and 7s, such as tendencies toward overindulgence, particularly with partying and alcohol.
Travis’s 2 ‘Soul Number’ also gives him an emotional side and quick temper – famously seen during his on-field clash with Chiefs coach Andy Reid at last year’s Super Bowl.

Challenge Numbers often suggests amazing sexual chemistry between two people, but McCants adds that they could find themselves at odds once the daily routine kicks in, and sex is put on the back burner.
Based on their mutual ‘Parent Number 6’, the numerologist predicts both will want children quickly.
Taylor’s Power Name Number 6 points to motherhood, and Travis’s three 6s suggest he’ll be a devoted father.
‘They will both want to start a family right out of the gate. Taylor’s biological clock is ticking, and she can’t wait to be a mom,’ she said.
Taylor and Travis also share positive numbers, such as 8 and 6, which emphasize family, children, and financial prosperity.
‘Taylor, who is worth $1.6 billion, is incredibly successful, and Travis loves the fact her success adds to the way people perceive him. And although Travis is worth an estimated $40million, the life of an NFL star is short lived.
‘At 35, he could soon be heading for the end of his 12-year football career. If Taylor doesn’t figure out a way for him to remain in the limelight and stay busy with something that makes him feel validated, they could run into trouble.
‘Right now, Travis feels like he’s won the lottery, but he’s not the kind of person who will ever be happy stuck in the background, carrying his wife’s purse on the sideline,’
‘He would never tolerate being known as Mr. Swift,’ she added.
On a positive note, McCants revealed the couple shares the Maturity Number 2, which is all about love and lasting partnerships. The Maturity Number reveals traits later in life.
If they find ways to compromise, even with those Toxic Challenge Numbers, they will be grateful that they did, she explained.
‘There is no getting around the fact that this marriage will take some real work to keep it healthy, but because the love they share is genuine, they may be able to defy the odds and go the distance.’
McCants bases her readings on the 2,500-year-old Pythagorean system, which maps six core numbers from a person’s name and birth date.
The Life Path, she stresses, is the most important – a blueprint for happiness.
That Blueprint is made up of six Numbers, all reduced to a single digit.
‘Each person’s chart tells us who they are,’ McCants said. ‘The Life Path number is the most important because it tells us what will make a person truly happy.’
