Nigel Farage got into yet another debate about Brexit during Wednesday’s episode of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! as he finally got more airtime.
The former UKIP leader, 59, discussed his previous role within the European Parliament with campmate’s Tony Bellew and Josie Gibson.
But Tony, 41, was left unconvinced by Nigel’s answers, admitting he wasn’t sure if he was being ‘absolutely 100 per cent.’
Nigel has so far survived elimination at the expense of Frankie Dettori, Nella Rose, Fred Sirieix and Nick Pickard, but fans have questioned why he has barely featured on the the hit show.
The broadcaster has expressed his dismay at not being nominated for Bushtucker Trials because they command an estimated 25 per cent of the show’s airtime.

The former UKIP leader discussed his previous role within the European Parliament with campmate’s Tony Bellew and Josie Gibson
Discussing Brexit, he explained: ‘Once we are in charge it doesn’t guarantee that things will be better.’
Tony responded: ‘The problem is, we aren’t seeing these savings. We were promised X amount going to the NHS.
‘If you have change all these law Nigel then why haven’t they been done correctly? We are paying the price now with all these price increases and charges.’
Speaking later to the Bush Telegraph, he added: ‘Considering he has been part of the European Parliament, I’m not sure.
‘As we know politicians will sugarcoat things and dress things up to suit their narrative. I’m just not sure Nigel is being absolutely 100 per cent with us.’
Speaking to Josie, Nigel continued: ‘When you take on the establishment, as I did, they don’t exactly come out with a tray of G&T’s for you.’
Nigel’s camp took another swipe at ITV on Monday evening by claiming he is being given limited airtime on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
Illustrating their point on the ex-politician’s official Twitter account following Nella’s departure, disgruntled friends shared a mock-up of Farage as a wanted profile on BBC show Crimewatch.

ITV producers had high hopes for Farage after agreeing to a bumper fee with the GB News host, but sources claim they have been underwhelmed with his impact on the jungle camp.
An insider told The Mirror: ‘People I know working on the show think Farage is one of the least interesting campmates ever.
‘He is very boring and producers have struggled with fun storylines to show a different side to him.
‘He’s good for Brexit and culture wars stuff, but outside of that, the local wildlife is more entertaining than he is.
‘One example is a few of them were talking about their favourite movies and he couldn’t come up with a single one! Politics is his life and basically outside of that he’s got no personality.’
Farage’s reported fee is understood to be a show record and eclipses the £320,000 earned by former Health Secretary Matt Hancock in 2022.
Prior to entering the jungle Farage and his GB News team pre-recorded a selection of videos to tell his followers how to vote to keep him on the show.
Each celebrity has an agent or friend running their social media accounts, who are posting on their behalf – but Farage went one step further by filming himself in front of a green screen.
It comes after supporters of Nigel took another swipe at ITV on Monday evening by claiming he is being given limited airtime on I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here!

In the videos, he asks his followers to ‘vote remain’ for the first time – words many thought they would never hear.
‘I’m asking you to vote remain, no seriously, vote for me to remain in the jungle,’ he says in one video.
‘Now the easiest way to do it is to get the app that gives you five free votes or you can phone or text.’
