Nicole Richie has landed a new high-profile job.
The wife of Good Charlotte frontman Joel Madden, 45, has signed on as the face of Estee Lauder’s Night Night Club campaign promoting the brand’s Advanced Night Repair serum, it was announced on Thursday.
The new ad is a play on bottle service – she used to get vodka with her bottle service when she was a hard parting young woman, but now she gets bottles of serums.
In the campaign video, the daughter of Lionel Richie hears a knock on her door and two people enter with one carrying sparklers and the other a bottle holder with the night serum presented artfully.
‘We love a sparkler moment, I just don’t really go out anymore,’ Nicole said. ‘This is a new bottle service,’ she is told.
This announcement comes after she shared she is starring in a new series with her Simple Life costar Paris Hilton.

In the commercial she applies the product and climbs into bed as the camera shows off her flawless complexion.
‘My Advanced Night Repair really went all out last night,’ she said.
‘I mean, look at me! Is it 2007 again?’ she cheekily said as the video ended.
She captioned the post: ‘I’ll always be a bottle service kinda girl with @esteelauder Advanced Night Repair. #EsteeLauderPartner #EsteeLauder.’
Not only does the campaign afford Richie a glimpse at her celebutante past, it also reminds her of getting ready with her mother, singer Brenda Harvey Richie, when she was a little girl.
‘I would sit in her dressing room and watch her get ready,’ the House of Harlow founder told People.
‘She had a huge bathtub and I would sit in her empty bathtub and watch her do her skincare and makeup, and Estée Lauder is one of those brands that I was really paying attention to. And it’s been on my counter as long as I can remember.’
Richie doesn’t usually promote brands other than her own, but because of that connection to her mother, partnering with Estee Lauder was a no brainer.
‘I was immediately on board,’ Richie told the outlet. ‘The biggest thing for me with this Supreme Bounce Creme is that it’s just so moisturizing.
‘You put it on before you go to sleep and you wake up and your skin is the most moisturized that it could ever be.’
She wore a brown silk nightie with her blonde hair down during the new ad
The ad is the first of two Richie stars in.
In the second, which debuts on August 29, she’s at a disco party during a dream sequence where she ‘got to show off my very impressive dance moves.’
The new collaboration comes as Richie shoots a new series with Hilton.
Paris shared a clip to Instagram recently revealing that they are planning ‘something very, very special’.
‘Hey guys, just got home from shooting with Nicole,’ Paris said in the video.
‘As some of you may know, we are doing a reunion special to celebrate 20 years of our show,’ she started.
In the campaign video, which she shared on Instagram for her 7.3 million followers, the daughter of Lionel Richie hears a knock on her door and two people enter with one carrying sparklers and the other a bottle holder with the night serum presented artfully

‘It’s been so much fun and we’re planning something very, very special and I thought the best place to find the people that I would want to be a part of this is here,’ she added.
‘I’m so excited to be doing this with Nicole on Peacock,’ she said, noting that the streaming service is also home to her series Paris in Love.
‘Nicole has been my best friend since we’re 2 years old, every memory that I have is with her.
‘Simple Life is such a special show,’ she continued, ‘and this is just going to be so iconic and I can’t wait for fans to see.’
