Newly single Hollywood star Orlando Bloom is said to be ‘interested in dating’ Nicole Kidman following both of their recent splits from their high-profile partners.
According to an unconfirmed report, the English-born actor, 48, has put Nicole – who split with husband Keith Urban in September – ‘at the top’ of his dating wish list after his split from Katy Perry earlier this year.
‘Orlando has Nicole at the top of his dream date wish list, and not just because of her A-list status,’ an insider told this week’s New Idea magazine.
‘He’s always had a thing for Nicole, for a very simple reason – they have history together.’
Although the pair have never publicly dated, in March 2002 they put on a very cosy display together at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party, one year after her split from ex-husband Tom Cruise.
‘There was chemistry between them, all night. Orlando was clearly entranced by Nicole and she loved his attention,’ the source added.

‘But the truth is she didn’t take him seriously. He was devastated.’
Another source allegedly said Orlando was more determined than ever to attract Nicole’s attention, especially after his ex Katy began dating former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau last month.
‘Orlando wears his heart on his sleeve. He’s determined to land a date with Nicole,’ they said.
‘Nicole has been lonely for a while. Having a charming dinner with a fun Brit like Orlando could be just what she needs.’
Nicole shares daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14, with her country singer ex.
It was revealed in September they had gone their separate ways.
While the Oscar winner is in a ‘good headspace’ as she moves on, the estranged couple have also been facing challenges.
‘The hardest part is navigating the dynamic with their daughters,’ a source told Us Weekly.

‘The last thing Nicole wanted was a broken family,’ the insider added before further expressing that she ‘raised her daughters to be strong and is leading by example for them.’
The insider told the outlet that the star ‘isn’t necessarily trying to find her new normal throughout all of this, because they had been quietly separated for a while now.’
It was also revealed that, ‘this next chapter feels more like a transition than a shock.’
According to divorce documents previously obtained by the Daily Mail, Nicole will become the primary residential parent of their two teenage daughters.
The estranged couple have agreed to an unusual parenting plan in which Nicole gets 306 days while Keith receives just 59 with their kids.
