Nicole Eggert is opening up about her regrets about getting breast implants when she was just 18 during the first season of Baywatch.
The 52-year-old actress had been acting since she was 8, starring as Jamie Powell on Charles in Charge and Who’s the Boss before playing Summer Quinn on Baywatch.
When she realized she had to be in a one-piece swimsuit all day, which she said were, ‘not flattering’ she decided to get breast implants during a filming break.
She realized on the first day of filming in 1992, ‘Oh my God, we’re going to be in a bathing suit all day every day?’
The actress admitted that she believed she auditioned for a spin-off TV series about kids in a Malibu high school.

‘All the girls worked out and were super tiny and fit and I was like “Whoops.” And the one-piece bathing suits were not flattering. I didn’t want to wear it at all,’ she said.
‘It just wasn’t what I signed up for. It was a totally different show and ballgame and not where I wanted to be,’ she said, ultimately leaving Baywatch after two seasons.
While she grew up swimming on the Southern California beaches they filmed on, and she was one of the strongest swimmers in the cast, she still felt insecure about her body, adding that led her to get the breast implant surgery.
‘I regret it now, of course. I look at all these younger girls doing it and think, “God, leave your bodies alone!”‘ Eggert said.
Though she admitted, ‘But when you have to put on that one-piece and it’s like you’re so flat that it’s like pleating — you got pleats across the front… you’re like, “What is this?” Nothing you can do. You can’t stuff it with anything. You can’t do anything.’
‘It was a stupid 18 year old decision,’ Eggert added, and while she would go on to have multiple breast augmentation surgeries after that, she appeared on E!’s Botched in 2015 to have her breasts reduced.
Back in 2016, original Baywatch producers Michael Berk and Douglas Schwartz claimed that Eggert felt ‘competitive’ with star Pamela Anderson.
They also claimed that she ‘called in sick’ for a few days after a holiday weekend and came back with a boob job, but Eggert disputes that.

When asked about Pamela, Eggert said, ‘I always knew Pamela was prettier and more natural. I kind of wondered why she always did so much makeup. But it was her thing and the look she was going for’

‘Those guys — they really like to make stuff up. It was on downtime from the show, and they knew (about the surgery),’ Eggert said.

‘It was the image she wanted to portray, so it worked for her. And I always just feel like, however you feel comfortable, whatever makes you feel good, do it. And for her, it was wearing a lot of makeup. For me, it was like, makeup at the beach? “Oh, this is disgusting,” You know what I mean?’ Eggert said.
