Maika Monroe and Nicolas Cage both showed off striking all-black looks when they arrived at the premiere in Hollywood of their new horror film Longlegs on Monday.
The 31-year-old actress put on a sizzling display in a skimpy ensemble that highlighted her svelte figure and her toned midriff, while Cage favored a classic black tuxedo that he spiced up with sequins.
Monroe stars in the critically acclaimed chiller as an FBI agent on the trail of serial killer (Cage) who is believed to have occult motivations for his disturbing crimes.
The film has so far received stellar reviews and comparisons to the classic The Silence Of The Lambs, and Cage has been particularly praised for his eerie performance, which freaked Monroe out when she first saw him in costume on set.
The premiere, which was co-presented by the American Cinematheque and Beyond Fest, was held at the recently restored Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood.

Monroe departed from her character’s business casual attire with her revealing look, which featured nothing but a black leather bra with round cups for a top.
It left her trim arms and flat tummy exposed above a black leather low-rise skirt.
The skirt featured a cutout over her hip and black straps to tie it tight, and she twirled around to give her admirers a closer look on the red carpet.
She stayed on point with a set of tall black leather boots, and she contrasted her dark outfit with her long blond hair, which she wore with bangs while it cascaded down her back in gentle waves.
Monroe completed her ensemble with long dangling diamond earring strands that framed her impeccably made-up face.
Cage looked classy in a minimalist look featuring a black tuxedo.
He spiced it up with peaked satin lapels, which were accented with rows of gleaming sequins on the edges.
The Pig star skipped a tie and left his white shirt unbuttoned, and he added a gold luxury wristwatch to spice up his red-carpet look.

The black jacket had contrasting scarlet sleeves with black sequins arranged to create gorgeous tree limbs that suited the film premiere, and she completed her look with tall black boots.
Joining the film’s stars was Longlegs’ director Osgood ‘Oz’ Perkins, who wore a thick black sweater with dark trousers.
Perkins previously directed the well-reviewed horror film The Blackcoat’s Daughter, which starred Emma Roberts, Kiernan Shipka, and Lucy Boynton, followed by I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives In The House and Gretel & Hansel.
The filmmaker will next release the already-shot horror film The Monkey, based on the 1980 Stephen King short story of the same name. It stars The White Lotus’ Theo James, Tatiana Maslany and Elijah Wood.
Perkins has a special family connection to the horror genre, as he is the oldest son of the late actor Anthony Perkins, who was best known for playing Norman Bates in Alfred Hitchcock’s classic horror film Psycho, along with its sequels.
