Nicola Peltz Snubs David Beckham Amid Family Feud, Thanks Sister for Flowers

Nicola Peltz was full of praise for her sister Brittany who gifted her a bouquet of flowers as she failed to congratulate her father-in-law Sir David Beckham on his knighthood.

The American actress, 30, took to her social media to post a gushing tribute to her sister and share a snap of her colourful bouquet.

Alongside the picture, she penned: ‘Omg @brittanyleahpeltz thank you so so so much these are breathtaking.’

Her post came as her father-in-law David, 50, finally received his knighthood at Windsor Castle for services to sport and charity.

His wife Lady Victoria, 51, and parents Ted and Sandra watched as he bowed and knelt for the monarch who touched him gently on both shoulders with his sword.

David’s three youngest children Romeo, 23, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 14, were also involved to celebrate their father’s honour.

However, estranged eldest son Brooklyn, 26, and Nicola were notably absent for the major milestone.

The pair also snubbed him on social media, opting to not publicly congratulate the former footballer on his achievement.

Brooklyn is said to have become increasingly estranged from the family after failing to attend any of his father’s 50th birthday celebrations in May.

It’s been reported the aspiring chef ‘did not reach out to congratulate’ his dad privately on his life’s dream.

At the time David received his knighthood, Brooklyn was busy promoting his hot sauce brand Cloud 23.

It is believed he remained firmly focused on the company and did not answer any questions about his family.

In September it was reported that Victoria had declared ‘enough is enough’ after months of heartache over the long-running row.

Victoria is said to have drawn a line in the sand and can no longer ‘keep fighting the same fight’.

Reflecting on his knighthood, David told fans in an Instagram post: ‘Today has been such an emotional day — more emotion than nerves, in all honesty. There have been a few tears and a lot of emotion. It’s been a very special day. It’s something that we can all be proud of today as a family.’

‘To have my parents there today, to have my wife there to celebrate with my children, it makes it a very emotional day’, he added.

‘To receive such an important honour from His Majesty the King — one of the most elegant men, and someone from the most important and respected institution in the world.’

Posting several sweet snaps of the couple, she gushed: ‘David, from the moment I met you 28 years ago, you’ve always been so proud to represent your country.

‘Whether on or off the pitch, no one loves England or respects our Royal Family more, so to see you honoured by The King today is something I’ll forever cherish.

‘You’ve achieved so much, and yet you’re still the same kind, humble, hardworking man I met nearly 30 years ago, as well as the most amazing husband and father.

‘I’ve never felt prouder than I do today. Sir @davidbeckham, we all love you so much xxx’

Last month the family dropped the biggest hint yet that a reconciliation was on the cards after David and Victoria praised Brooklyn’s cooking abilities.

They have continued to support their son and ‘liked’ his video on Instagram as he made buttermilk pancakes for his fanbase.
