Nicola McLean has alleged all footballers are cheaters and claimed married sportsmen regularly ‘slide into her DMs’.
The glamour model, 42, who married footballer Tom Williams in 2009, spoke candidly about her experiences with footballers and infidelity in the wake of Kyle Walker’s love child scandal with Lauryn Goodman and his wife Annie Kilner.
Although she did not explicitly call her husband, who has played for a host of teams including West Ham and Queen’s Park Rangers, a cheater, Nicola said: ‘I’d go as far as saying all footballers are cheats – or at least I’ve never known a faithful one…
‘I hope there are exceptions but I’d be surprised. I still get married ones sliding into my DMs now. I don’t want to give them the satisfaction of knowing I’ve read them so I quickly open them, screenshot, send them to Tom and then mark them as unread!’
Nicola gave a candid insight into her exchanges with the footballers, saying: ”I don’t want to give them the satisfaction of knowing I’ve read them so I quickly open them, screenshot, send them to Tom and then mark them as unread!

‘I never engage at all. It makes Tom laugh, because he trusts me and I guess he knows what footballers are like. But I’d be furious if the same was happening to Tom, and go mental and ask why they were messaging him. But he really doesn’t care.’
She conceded: ‘Footballers behave appallingly and I’m not excusing them in this. I’m a girl’s girl and hate the way they talk about women. But women should have more self respect and not just accept it…
‘I’m teaching my sons to be respectful to women, and if I had a daughter I’d be mortified if she behaved like some of the wannabe WAGS. I’d make sure she had a lot of self-respect and knows her worth.’
Her latest shock revelations come after Nicola recalled her experience of lying about her weight to obtain dangerous weight loss jabs online in a bid to shed the pounds.
The TV personality who has battled bulimia since childhood, told in a new interview that the controversial ‘skinny jabs’ left her feeling ‘violently sick’ and battling severe headaches.
Despite the jabs being initially marketed to help treat diabetes, a number of well known stars have turned to the appetite-suppressing product to help with their weight loss – with Nicola being one of them.
However, the former glamour model has since spoken out against the jabs which left her feeling ‘so ill’, with the star noting how she previously thought they were ‘the answer to all my prayers.’
It wasn’t until her concerned footballer husband Tom Williams threw the jabs away that Nicola began to feel better and realised just how bad they were for her.

Speaking to The Sun, she said: ‘It made me so ill. It’s advertised like it’s going to perform miracles…
‘People like myself who are suffering from bulimia and anorexia will look at this and think, “This is the moment I’ve been waiting for, this is going to be life-changing for me”. I thought this was the answer to all my prayers’
However, she was quick to confirm that it was a ‘big mistake’ and that she wouldn’t recommend the jabs – which she began taking in 20201 – to anyone.
Nicola went on to say how she found the jabs through an advert on Instagram and after enquiring, she was directed to an Instagram account which claims to be an online nurse that promotes healthy weight loss.
She was then advised to claim that she was ‘two stone heavier’ than she really was in order to obtain the £250 jabs, as well as provide her height, blood pressure and BMI, with Nicola stating the jabs were ‘so simple’ to get.
She said: ‘I lied about my weight, gave my normal height of 5ft 4in, my blood pressure, paid £250 for a month’s worth and within a couple of days it arrived’

‘It was so simple and easy. I thought it was that quick fix I had always been looking for. I told myself it was no big deal. If celebrities were doing it, it would be safe for me too.’
The beauty went on to detail that she began taking the jab, which was called Saxenda, daily, stating how she started to feel ‘really ill’.
Describing her suffering, she said: ‘I was violently sick, and Tom was like, “That is so odd for you”, because I have got the strongest stomach you’ll ever know from being bulimic for years. Then I started getting headaches, but I brushed those off.’
She recalled also ‘brushing off’ her husband Tom’s concerns, saying how she was ‘in denial’ as at the time her weight loss was ‘more important’ to her – despite her only being a size 10 at the time.
