Nicki Minaj quits Instagram amid massive backlash over surprise Turning Point USA appearance with Erika Kirk

Nicki Minaj got some major heat after her controversial appearance at Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest, and now she appears to be taking a break from social media.

Fans realized Minaj’s Instagram account had been deactivated on Christmas Eve, according to Us Weekly.

The message, ‘Sorry, this page isn’t available,’ now appears where Minaj’s posts used to be.

Though the rapper has quit her account in the past, the timing of this latest deletion has raised eyebrows.

It comes in the wake of Minaj’s guest appearance with Charlie Kirk’s widow Erika Kirk at the AmericaFest conference on Sunday, December 21, in Phoenix, Arizona.

The Barbie World hitmaker, 43, and the new CEO, 37, stepped out on stage holding hands and looking chummy.

They spoke about a variety of topics, including how to make young men be more active in politics.

Minaj also praised President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance. ‘I can relate to them when I hear them speak,’ she told Kirk.

The Trinidadian-born singer-songwriter also suffered an embarrassing gaffe in front of Kirk as she attempted to praise JD Vance as an ‘assassin’ at Sunday’s event.

The singer — whose real name is Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty — put her head in her hands as she used the poor choice of words while speaking with the late Turning Point USA founder’s widow.

The moment came as Kirk asked Minaj what her message is to young men, and she warned them not to be like ‘New-scum,’ an insult referencing California Governor Gavin Newsom.

‘Young men, you have amazing role models like our handsome, dashing president,’ Minaj continued.

‘And you have amazing role models like the assassin JD Vance, our vice president.’

Minaj appeared to quickly realize she used the word ‘assassin’ in front of the widow whose husband was assassinated in September, and paused with her head down.

Some people in the audience began to laugh, but Kirk gave Minaj a wide pass and said, ‘Trust me, there is nothing new under the sun that I have not heard. So you’re fine… You let it roll right off your back.’

Kirk noted that Minaj’s faux pas would likely go viral, as she said she didn’t care ‘if the internet wants to clip it.’

Kirk added: ‘I love this woman. She’s an amazing woman. She has a soul and a heart for the Lord. And words are words, but I know her heart and it doesn’t even matter. And you say what you wanna say because I know your heart.’
