Nick Viall and wife Natalie Joy have responded to fans who accused him of being upset about their unborn babies' genders.

Last week the 45-year-old former Bachelor star and 27-year-old influencer revealed .

They are already parents to two-year-old daughter River. 

'Two more little girls. Could not be more excited. I know many people in the comments [were] thinking that that last balloon I wanted to be blue,' Viall acknowledged on the latest episode of their Viall Files podcast.

Joy chimed in, 'And I will be honest with you guys – everything on social media is fake. We did, in fact, act for that video because we did already know the gender. 

'So there's no way he would've been upset with the second balloon, because he'd already known that there were two girls.'

Earlier this month the 45-year-old former Bachelor star and 27-year-old influencer revealed they are expecting twins

'Nick was lowkey wishing that last pop was blue,' one fan commented on the pair's gender reveal announcement.

'Nick looks… thrilled,' someone else sarcastically noted.

In her latest Instagram post, Joy shared photos of her growing baby bump and wrote in the caption that she's 'living my dream life.'

She and Viall tied the knot in Savannah, Georgia in April 2024, less than three months after River was born.

In August 2023 the soon-to-be mom-of-three talked about potentially changing the date of their wedding to accommodate her pregnancy.

Ultimately, they decided to keep the original date and have their child there for the ceremony and honeymoon, she said on their podcast.

'We're like, "We'll just have a baby at our wedding." We'll then go on a honeymoon and have a baby. We'll be bringing along my mom or a nanny,' she shared at the time.

Viall also teased the sex of their baby in the episode.

'We already know the gender. We're not revealing that yet,' he said to his audience.

He added, 'We have told some friends, but I've told some friends the wrong gender.

'Sometimes you have to weed out the moles. So every once in a while, I'll just like, get to know who you can trust and who you don't trust.'
