THE son and suspected murderer of iconic Hollywood couple Rob and Michele Reiner once destroyed their home in a drug-fuelled rage.

Nick, 32, also admitted to duping his famous parents into handing over the cash for an evening with a sex worker while he was “extremely blazed” aged only 14.

The troubled screenwriter spoke freely about both incidents in resurfaced interviews from the “Dopey” podcast in 2018 and 2017 respectively.

The detailed accounts are particularly chilling in light of his arrest for the double homicide of his Oscar-nominated dad and acclaimed producer mum, who were found with their throats slit on Sunday.

Nick was being hidden away in his parents’ guest house while on a meth binge before he tore it apart.

“I went 10 rounds in my guest house,” he said.

“It’s not much of a story. I got totally spun out on uppers – I think it was coke and something else – and I was up for days on end.”

Nick added that he “started with the TV” before turning to a lamp in his drug-fuelled outburst.

“Everything in the guest house got wrecked,” he recalled.

The Being Charlie screenwriter said he flew into a rage after his parents told him he “had to go”.

In a separate incident, Nick recalled losing his virginity to a sex worker after surfing Craigslist while high on a “pot brownie”.

He revealed: “I was just looking at the different profiles, and this one [profile picture was] just an ass shot.

“I called her up when I was about 14 or something, and her going rate was about $200.”

Nick continued: “This is the part of the story that I don’t usually tell, but I’ll tell it anyway.

“I got the $200 from my parents.”

He explained that his parents were none the wiser to his antics, saying: “I didn’t say, ‘Hey, look, I’m going to be with a [sex worker] tonight. Do you think you have an extra $200?”

Detailing the experience, he said: “It was also like 1am. She comes over.

“I didn’t know how it worked, so I tried to kiss her. She didn’t want that.”

Despite admitting to finding the woman unattractive, Nick described the incident as “awesome”, and saying he didn’t care because he “was young”.

He recalled phoning her back for another session after realising he had more money.

Even though he was stoned on a “pot brownie” at the time, he admitted: “I still would have done it if I was sober.”

The revelations come after news of Nick’s arrest for the double murder have spread online.

Shocking pictures of the arrest show Nick being forced to the ground and handcuffed as he was put in the back of a police car by armed officers in Los Angeles.

He was detained near a Metro station just 15 miles away from his parents’ Brentwood mansion and had reportedly been staying at The Pierside Santa Monica motel.

Staff alerted the LAPD after claiming to have discovered a disturbing trail of blood inside his room.

He was taken down to the local station and hit with murder charges over the death of his mother and father.

He is now reportedly being held without bail in Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Los Angeles.

Nick has stayed out of the spotlight since he opened up about his struggles with drug addiction and homelessness in 2016.

He admitted to being in and out of rehab at a young age and said his addiction issues even led him to being homeless at one point in his life, according to People.

“When I was out there, I could’ve died. It’s all luck. You roll the dice and you hope you make it,” Nick said.

Nick and his dad were spotted in public regularly in 2015, as they combined forces to create the semi-autobiographical film Hey Charlie.

The movie centered around the entitled, drug-addicted son of a renowned actor who was trying his hand at politics.

At the time, Reiner described struggling to deal with painful memories as he explored the topic with his son.

“It was very, very hard going through it the first time, with these painful and difficult highs and lows,” the beloved director told the outlet then.

“And then making the movie dredged it all up again.”

FILM ICON

Reiner, who was raised in the Bronx by famed actors Carl and Estelle, was a huge presence in the film industry after more than five decades as one of Hollywood’s top directors and actors.

His career as an actor began in the early 1960s, but it was not until the 1970s that Reiner gained recognition after portraying Michael “Meathead” Stivic on the TV comedy All in the Family.

Throughout the 70s, Reiner continued to make guest appearances on several TV series, including The Partridge Family.

However, it was in the director’s chair where Reiner flourished into a star in the world of film.

He helmed a string of hit movies, including, When Harry Met Sally, The Princess Bride, and the Academy Award nominated film A Few Good Men, among others.

It was on the set of When Harry Met Sally that he met the photographer and his eventual wife, Michele Singer.

“I look over and I see this girl, and ‘Whoo!’ I was attracted immediately,” Reiner told The New York Times in 1989.

The couple wed in 1989, the year the film was released.

After their marriage, Michele began helping her husband with producing films, including Shock and Awe and Albert Brooks: Defending My Life.

Reiner and Michele are survived by their children, Romy, Jake, Nick, and Tracy, the director’s daughter, whom he adopted from his previous wife, Penny Marshall.
