Love Island Australia is set to heat up this year as sources have revealed the 2024 series will feature a world first X-rated twist which causes huge ‘fallout’.
Channel Nine’s season six, hosted by Sophie Monk, will introduce Hotel Amor which allows contestants to hook-up and partner-swap without cameras on them.
Daily Mail Australia can exclusively reveal that some couples take full advantage of the opportunity, leading to more blow ups and ‘mind manipulation’ than ever before.
‘The upcoming Love Island Australia series has a twist that has had Channel Nine checking the Broadcasting Code of Practices,’ confirmed one source.
‘What “the Islanders” get up to this season is 1000% X rated and will have viewers more involved than ever before.’
Hotel Amor is a shocking twist on the usual Casa Amor which separates couples and has them meet other sexy singles looking for love.
Casa Amor, which is filmed in its entirety, acts as the ‘ultimate test’ to see if the Islanders will remain loyal to the other connections they have made in the villa.
However, Hotel Amor will switch the cameras off and have the contestants’ loyalties tested without prying eyes, allowing them a chance to lie about being unfaithful.

When the idea was presented to long-time host Sophie, 44, she had one question: ‘Can we actually do this?’
What viewers don’t see will keep them guessing as the Islanders lose trust in their friends and their partners during this never before seen twist.
‘Australia has this world first activation where the Islanders will swap partners and spend a night in a hotel room with NO cameras,’ the insider said.
‘A daring idea, as producers have taken a huge risk to relinquish their power and turn off their vision.
‘The producers wont see everything that these participants get up to. Which has paid off in many ways.’

They continued: ‘Even the audiences are left to question what has happened behind closed doors. Not to mention the viewers also never really being certain who to believe.’
The source went on to say Hotel Amor ‘has worked in many ways’ but will mostly allow fans at home to ‘play along too and question what is real and what isn’t’.
‘The idea has paid off leaving all the islanders to question what kind of kinky, X rated and perverted behaviour their partners have gotten up to and the fallout is wild.
‘What the mind can imagine is much worse than what usually has happened and the can of mind manipulation has taken the game to another level,’ the source added.
The new Hotel Amor addition is said to have been so successful in Love Island Australia that ‘producers from around the world’ will add it to international versions.
