New Cast for Real Housewives of New Jersey?

The Real Housewives Of New Jersey may be about to get a new look after Andy Cohen claimed the reality series would be ‘rebooted.’

During a segment on his Andy Cohen Live radio show for SiriusXM, Cohen indicated that the cast might be completely swapped out for ‘fresh faces’ while chatting with a caller who was angry about the current show’s cast and direction.

The woman, who complained that RHONJ is ‘so boring now’ and said she wanted to see longtime star Melissa Gorga and newcomer Margaret Josephs jettisoned in favor of keeping Teresa Giudice, wasn’t initially mollified after Andy said there would be ‘big new changes to the show.’

After the caller continued a stream of complaints about the current season, Andy interject, ‘We are rebooting the show.’

DailyMail.com has reached out to representatives for Bravo for comment.

‘We’re gonna reboot it,’ Cohen continued. ‘We’re gonna do something different.’

The caller continued as she talked up Teresa’s presence on the series, before Andy seemed to try to wrap up the rant.

‘OK, all right. OK, we’re gonna see what we do. We’ll see,’ the seemingly annoyed Watch What Happens Live host said as he ended the conversation.

‘I don’t know. Maybe just all fresh faces. We’ll see,’ he added.

Andy has been vocal in recent weeks about his desire to reshape RHONJ, though the exasperated tone of his latest comments suggests he may have just been trying to end a string of complaints rather than laying out a definitive direction for the series.

On his radio show last week, Cohen said the show’s creative was was ‘gonna figure something out’ after a fan calling in opined that it needed a ‘rebrand,’ according to Page Six.

Despite being singled out by Cohen’s latest disgruntled caller as one of the source’s of RHONJ current troubles, Melissa Goga indicated that she’s ‘excited for what’s to come’ while speaking with Page Six.

‘I think we are due for some type of change,’ she said, adding that she was ‘excited to see what’s next and where this show goes from here,’ even though she claimed to have no idea what Bravo might be planning for the long-running reality series.

Last month, People reported that a reunion for the current season 14 had been canceled due to the women’s toxic interactions.

‘The network is figuring out a different concept to wrap up the season,’ an insiders familiar with the situation said.

The solution the stars arrived at was reportedly to set up two separate rooms for a season 14 finale watch party, with the reality stars divided into warring tribes to cut down on fighting.

According to Page Six, the only woman who escaped the feuding was Dolores Catania, who was liked enough by both groups that she was able to divide her time between them.
