Nepotism Alert: Famous Frontman’s Child — Guess Who?

A Hollywood nepo baby was recently seen on an outing in New York with his famous father. 

His dad is the lead singer of one  of the most prominent bands of the last 40 years.

The nepo baby was born on October 2, 2007 as his mother is a model who the musician was dating at the time.

The rockstar and his band hail from Los Angeles as their distinct style is a nod to the West Coast lifestyle.

His famous dad is responsible for hits including Can’t Stop, Scar Tissue, and Otherside.

It is Everly Bear Kiedis son of Anthony Kiedis!

The 17-year-old was joined by the 62-year-old Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman as they enjoyed a nice father-son chat sitting on the iconic water fountain in Washington Square Park.

Everly Bear smiled adoringly at his famous dad as they wore similar looks on the outing.

Both donned black trousers and footwear along with white T-Shirts while Anthony added a red trucker cap. 

 The two seemed to be trying to beat the heat as they picked up a watermelon on the outing in the Big Apple together.

Everly Bear’s mother is former model Heather Christie whom Anthony dated from 2004 to 2008.

 Years ago Anthony revealed how the former couple came up with the child’s eccentric name as he told People at the time: ‘The mama came up with Bear. That made sense to me because he’s from me and I feel like I’m part of the bear clan, and I think it’s nice to have a little bit of earth in your name.

‘We had a long list of names, but I suppose it came to me by way of the Everly Brothers, which is one of my favorite bands. And sometimes last names make good first names’

Anthony has primary custody of his son but does share custody with Heather who enjoys a more private life.

In April 2018, Heather took Anthony to court when he tried to block a visit with claims that she was an unfit mother.

The court ruled in favor of Heather but Anthony remained the primary carer as his son lives with him in Malibu.

 Perhaps Everly Bear will follow in his famous father’s footsteps as he has come on stage to sing at Red Hot Chili Peppers songs throughout the years.

 The father and son enjoy bonding time via their shared love of basketball as they are often seen sitting courtside together at Los Angeles Lakers games.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers have been an active band since their formation in 1982 as  Flea (bass), John Frusciante (guitar), and Chad Smith (drums) have been his most consistent band mates.

They are one of the top-selling bands of all-time with over 120million records sold worldwide.

They were inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 2012. 

Red Hot Chili Peppers also received a star on the famous Hollywood Walk Of Fame in March 2022 as Everly Bear was in attendance to support his dad.
