I’m A Celeb’s Nella Rose has beaten fellow campmate Nigel Farage in the battle for more screen time despite the right-wing politician’s ‘sneaky tactics’ to gain extra attention from audiences.
The YouTube star, 26, who has faced her own controversies on the show, has racked up 63 minutes on screen in the first four days narrowly beating the former UKIP leader’s 57 minutes, according to The Sun.
It’s also believed that there has been behind the scenes drama over how much ofNigel should be shown due to his political beliefs being at odd with the crew.
A source told the publication: ‘Giving him so much may be the last thing some of the crew want to do but Nigel is too good not too’.
‘The crew are feeling torn. They’re all professionals and everyone can recognise Farage makes great telly, but of course many harbour their own opinions on Brexit and immigration’.

‘And on a wider level it’s left bosses with somewhat of a dilemma – embrace Farage as the star of the show or stay conscious of the outcry over his casting and limit his airtime.’
Meanwhile it’s also been claimed ITV bosses were fed up with Nigel’s attention-seeking antics during his time in the jungle.
The star, 59, has been wearing his T-shirt back to front so his voting information appears on the front and is more visible to the viewing public.
An insider told the Mirror: ‘He is a wannabe politician, so of course he is using every sneaky trick in the book to try to be king.’
ITV declined to comment when contacted by MailOnline.
Nigel has openly admitted he is keen to get more airtime while in the jungle, saying he’d be happy to do the Bushtucker Trials as he would get ’25 per cent’ more time on screen.
He has also been baring his bottom in the shower, which some show fans think he is doing on purpose to make a splash.
During Tuesday’s episode, Nigel told food critic Grace Dent, 50, about his plan to reach a ‘new audience’.

He explained: ‘If you do the challenges, it’s 25% of the airtime. I’m looking at reaching a whole new audience.’
Nigel looked disappointed as he waved influencer Nella Rose off to take part in the No Time To Cry trial after she was voted by the public to do it.
Afterwards, hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly made a joke about Nigel’s comment, saying: ‘Shortly we’ll be going into camp to reveal who’ll be getting 25% of the air time tomorrow.’
Meanwhile, I’m A Celebrity has come under fire after airing footage of Nigel bathing naked for the second time.
The show, which launched on Sunday, is facing backlash from viewers who have urged bosses to ‘show some respect’ and give the former UKIP some privacy, instead of broadcasting his bottom for the nation to see.
Unlike his fellow campmates, who wear swimwear to head to the jungle shower or bath, the former politician has decided to strip off completely.
I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! continues Saturday 25 November at 9.30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
