Ne-Yo Celebrates Valentines with Four Wives

Ne-Yo will be needing a table for five this Valentine's Day as he plans to take his four 'wives' out for a romantic dinner.

The R&B singer, 46, has been in a polyamorous relationship with three women since 2024, but recently added a fourth woman to the mix.

As well as Ne-Yo, the likes of David Haye, Will Smith and and Bella Thorne all have history of being in throuples or a polyamorous relationship. 

Polyamory is the practice of engaging in multiple romantic, and typically sexual relationships, with the consent of all the people involved.

While throuples are relationships where three people, who have an equal commitment to the other two individuals, come together to form a consensual, romantic relationship.

So who has spoken out about enjoying a non-monogynous lifestyle?

Within Ne-Yo's group of lady loves are his main girlfriend, OnlyFans model Cristina, (nicknamed Pretty Baby), and Arielle Hill (Twin Flame) and Moneii (Phoenix Feather). 

In February 2025, he officially entered his 'polycule' stage - dating more than three people -when he welcomed dancer Brionna Williams (Sexy Lil’ Somethin’) into the mix.

Explaining his Valentine's Day plans this year, Ne-Yo said: 'Mind you these are three different women, three different personalities - I can't do blanket stuff like "Red roses for everybody!"' 

'I have to make sure I get a gift for each of them that matches who they are, but then as far as like where we go and what we do that we decide together', he told Sherri Shepherd.

We go to one restaurant. We go to one concert or whatever it is that we're doing and then everybody gets their individual gift and everybody's happy.' 

When asked if his girlfriends could date other men, Ne-Yo hypocritically said they 'gave' him their exclusivity: 'Meaning if you gave it to me, it's mine...You ain't giving it to nobody else.'

The Arkansas-born, Nevada-raised hitmaker vowed to never 'lie to another women in life' following his contentious divorce from ex-wife Crystal Renay in 2023 after six years of marriage.

Ne-Yo and the 40-year-old NudeLuxeRx Skincare CEO share three children - son Shaffer, 9; son Roman, 7; and daughter Isabella, 4.

Crystal claimed the BMF actor secretly fathered two sons - born in 2021 and 2023 - with influencer Sade Jenea Bagnerise.

Ne-Yo is also father to two teenagers - daughter Madilyn, 15; and son Mason, 14 - from his prior relationship with ex-fiancé Monyetta Shaw-Carter.

'No! I still love everyone I've ever been in love with. My heart is full of people I've been in love with.

'And then a new one comes in and it's like which sister do you prefer? No! Do you love your sister more than your mum? Stop it, stop it.

'So I can't... which girl do you love more? It's completely someone else's idea. It doesn't fit [me] at all.'

In April 2024, Daniel opened up about his sexuality for the first time as he spoke about a 'man he loved' during a performance at the London Palladium.

The Gotta Get Thru This singer had been taking a self-imposed hiatus for the past two decades but had returned to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his first hit song.

Addressing the crowds, he said: 'In my era, you had to be gay or straight, or f*** you. I wrote this song with a man I loved about a girl we both loved.'

The song was called Borderline and afterwards, Daniel spoke about this woman and said how much he and this unknown man missed her when she went away.

He said: 'I'm not very gay, but we were on a hot spring, sitting on a rock, missing her.'

The Nutty Professor actress, 54, revealed in 2023 that both she and the Men In Black star separated in 2016 - but have not taken steps to officially divorce. 

The former couple are parents to daughter Willow, 25, and son Jaden, 27. 

Will and Sheree were married from 1992 until 1995, and share one son, Trey Smith, 31, together. 

Speaking on Red Table Talk in 2019, Jada said: 'When you have your husband that is taking care of another woman and spending time with another woman, it's the same thing.'

Jada has previously shared that the former couple have their own relationship she respects, noting that they take vacations together.

Will has never confirmed the 'throuple' relationship himself, but Jada described their dynamic as being more than co-parenting discussions and they share a special three-way bond.

Will opened up about their experience of an open marriage in 2021 when deciding to not have a monogamous relationship after realising it hadn't been working.

'Jada never believed in conventional marriage. And for the large part of our relationship, monogamy was what we chose, not thinking of monogamy as the only relational perfection.

'The experiences that the freedoms that we've given one another and the unconditional support, to me, is the highest definition of love,' he admitted, after also confessing that both he and Jada had engaged in sexual relationships outside of their marriage.

'Also, doing research into polyamory, the main reasons why monogamous relationships - or why marriage - why divorces happen is infidelity.'

Willow was met with resistance from her grandmother Adrienne Banfield-Norris, who said: 'For somebody like me, it feels like it's really all just centered around sex.'

Willow then gave her 'Gammy' an example of a couple who might have opposite appetites for sex.

'Are you gonna be the person to say, you know: 'Just because I don't have these needs, you can't have them either?'' the Rise songstress explained.

'And so that's kind of one of the reasons why I actually was interested in poly because I was introduced to it through kind of a nonsexual lens. In my friend group, I'm the only polyamorous person, and I have the least sex out of all of my friends.'

Willow - who said the 'history of marriage really irks me' - found a more open, compassionate listener in her mother Jada.

'I'm okay with whatever you do,' the Matrix 4 action star shrugged.

'When you were like, 'Hey, this is my get down.' I was like, 'I totally get it.' Wanting to set up your life in a way that you can have what it is that you want, I think anything goes as long as the intentions are clear.'

They crossed paths again when Helen bumped into David at an awards ceremony in autumn 2022, before he later reached out after seeing a lingerie shoot she had done for Ann Summers. 

Just last month, Helen, 35, grabbed headlines after lifting the lid on her 'throuple' with the former heavyweight boxer in her upcoming book.

Helen and David enjoyed a brief romance after she split from her ex-fiancé Scott Sinclair, 36, with whom she shares three children - Matilda, 10, Delilah, seven, and Charlie, four.

Recent reports also revealed Helen reportedly told David to dump his girlfriend, Sian Osborne, for her during their toxic relationship.

A source told The Sun on Sunday: 'Helen wanted David to leave Sian for her. She was mad about David and desperately wanted him to herself.

'But David cares deeply for Sian, and he was simply never going to leave her for Helen. That was out of the question.'

In 2024, Helen opened up on her relationship with David on Celebs Go Dating and admitted she was in love with him but found it hard with not being the only woman in his life.

Helen explained: 'I'd known him for 10 years. We did a reality show together. I remember the first time, seeing him in the jungle, I was like 'wow.' It was quite something – it's really hard for me to talk about [now]. 

'He had a girlfriend and an open relationship. I didn't mean to fall in love with him, but I did. We did have this amazing connection together – we were like fire.

'It was weird – I think he does love his girlfriend and he loves me as well. It just brings me to a part in my life that was quite dark.'

When Anna brought up that the relationship was reported as a 'throuple' in the media, Helen said: 'No [it wasn't]. I was in love with him. I wouldn't have enjoyed watching the man I was in love with have sex with another woman, that's not for me.

'I had communication with his girlfriend, but I felt very guilty. I didn't feel nice about it all. It really upsets me because I don't mean to hurt other people but I was just really lonely.

'I found it really difficult because it just happened. It's not nice on another girl and I should've known better.'

One month later, the former Disney Channel star revealed that she was also in a relationship with Mod Sun.

She told Cosmopolitan in November 2019: 'Obviously, dating two people at once is a little difficult. 

'If you're gonna date a guy and a girl at the same time, those people have to really f*** with each other. 

'Or literally f–k with each other. You know what I'm saying? It's like, it really depends on finding the right mesh of two people.'

Bella and Tana were together until February 2019, and the pair took to Twitter and announced their split. 

The actress stayed with Mod Sun for two more months until she announced their breakup on Instagram in April 2019. 

Following Bella's split from both her exes, the drama began. The Blended actress took to Twitter in July 2019 to accuse Tana of breaking 'girl code.'

Although she never publicly revealed what the YouTuber did, fans were quick to speculate that Bella was upset after Tana was photographed out with Mod Sun around the same time. 

Mod Sun since got engaged to singer Avril Lavigne in April 2022 but the pair broke off the engagement in February 2023.

Bella got engaged to entrepreneur Mark Emms in May 2023 one year after meeting on the beach in Ibiza at Cara Delevigne's birthday party.

Previously Bella was engaged to ex-boyfriend and B3N frontman Benjamin Mascolo in 2021 but called it quits on their relationship in June 2022.

The pop-punk star, real name Dominic Harrison, also revealed he is pansexual - the romantic, emotional and/or sexual to people regardless of their gender.

He told Attitude: 'I probably would say now, I am polyamorous. Before I didn’t f***ing know what I was. 

'I was meeting people and learning… by meeting them and talking about sexuality and gender, I [was] going, "Oh my f***ing God, maybe I’m this, if I’m going to be f***ing close to anything on the spectrum."'

Yungblud, 28, added that while he had not publicly dated a man, in private he had 'hooked up with people and been into it and loved it'. 

He went on to thank ex Halsey, 31, whom he dated for 10 months in 2018, for being open about her bisexuality.  

'She taught me so much, even about my sexuality,' he explained. 'The conversations we would have at night, she has such knowledge because she’s been openly bisexual for years… it’s so funny when you’re dating someone, yet [you] owe them a lot towards your sexuality; even though she is not a man, she made me go, "Oh my God, I probably like am into that."

'I met someone, and she changed my whole perception of what love could be. It didn’t work out in the end because we’re better as friends and I think that’s what it was – we’re, kind of, very the same, so that was weird for us.' 

Yungblud is currently in a relationship with singer Jesse Jo Stark, 34. 

The couple look to be stronger than ever after rekindling their relationship last year. They met in 2020 and confirmed they were back together in August 2025 after a previous break-up in March 2025.
