NCIS star Katrina Law claims ex used AI to ‘destroy her reputation’ as she receives restraining order

The NCIS actress Katrina Law has been granted a restraining order after she accused her estranged husband of impersonating her with the use of AI.

Law, 40, claimed in a restraining order request filed on December 23 that her ex Keith Andreen, 51, had used the artificial intelligence program to send messages mimicking her to several people, including a new romantic partner.

According to court documents obtained by the Daily Mail, Law alleged that Andreen had ‘continuously attempted to spread false information and lies about me to friends and colleagues in an effort to destroy my reputation and career.’

Law’s temporary restraining order was granted on December 24, and it is set to continue until January 13, when a hearing will be held on the restraining order.

The Daily Mail has reached out to Andreen and his attorney for comment but has not yet received a response.

Law paints a picture of a sophisticated scheme, as Andreen was allegedly using AI to reproduce her voice, rather than just having it generate text messages.

‘I am an actress. He has used AI to falsely impersonate me [by] sending voice messages to people using my voice and likeness in an effort to destroy my reputation and disturb the peace,’ she claimed.

Law alleged that her estranged husband had sent multiple people messages that appeared to be from her, but ‘which were confusing and out of character.’

In her filing, she stated: ‘I adamantly deny that I have sent any voice messages to any of these individuals. I believe that Keith is using Artificial Intelligence to impersonate me, by creating voice recordings — in my voice and likeness — saying embarrassing things in an effort to ruin my reputation.’

Due to her high-profile status on television, she claimed that Andreen had ‘access to hours of footage of me speaking, which he could easily use to have AI learn and reproduce my voice.’

‘Numerous AI programs available online allow you to clone any voice, and then use text to prompt the AI about what to say in the cloned voice,’ Law continued.

‘Keith has sent voice messages that sound like me to various individuals in an effort to embarrass me, ruin my reputation, and disturb my peace,’ she claimed, adding that she planned to introduce the alleged AI recording ‘at trial.’

Law accused Andreen — who she claimed had become ‘increasingly unstable’ — of having hacked her social media accounts and emails so that he could track her and ‘communicate with others.’

‘I feel like I can’t live freely without being followed or monitored,’ she said.

In addition to the alleged electronic monitoring, Law said she believed her estranged husband had put a tracking device under the hood of her car.

She wrote that she had seen Andreen putting something under the hood on Ring doorbell camera footage, and a private investigator who examined the car the next day determined that an electronic tracking device had been attached to it.

According to the NCIS star, Andreen had attempted to delete the Ring footage, but she was able to download a copy of him running to the car before it was deleted.

Law alleged that her estranged husband had also ‘expressed suicidal ideation’ that left her concerned, particularly because he allegedly had access to a shotgun that was kept in the bedroom.

She claimed that bedroom routines with their daughter and her ex had become an issue of concern for her after they attempted to transition her to sleeping in her own bedroom, rather than in their master bedroom, beginning around July 2025.

Law alleged that, after she started sleeping in their six-year-old daughter Kinley’s bedroom due to ‘marital issues,’ Andreen began demanding that their daughter instead sleep with him in the master bedroom.

She claimed that Andreen guilted their daughter by saying, ‘I will be sad if you don’t sleep with me,’ and in early August, their daughter made Law ‘promise’ that she wouldn’t be required to sleep with Andreen.

‘Since then, [Andreen] has forced her to stay in the master bedroom for hours on end during his custodial time — even in spite of her screaming and crying that she didn’t want to go to the master bedroom,’ Law alleged.

In her filing, Law said that she and Andreen had both been working at the start of their marriage, but Andreen — who has worked as an actor and in the camera and electrical departments on film and TV projects — hadn’t worked consistently since 2020, aside from a few isolated projects.

Law, who wed Andreen in 2013, wrote that she began to feel dissatisfied with her marriage beginning as early as 2016, though the 2018 birth of their daughter kept them both focused on raising her.

But a ‘month-long relationship with another man’ that Law had in May 2025, which she said she ‘regrett[ed], changed her feelings about her marriage.

‘After the relationship ended, I realized that my marriage with Keith was not the same loving and supportive partnership that we previously had,’ Law said, adding that she told Andreen on May 24 that she was thinking of filing for divorce.

She claimed that ‘Keith randomly mentioned that he would never think of checking any of my “stuff”‘ after the conversation, which she found to be a concerning statement out of the blue, leading her to change several of her account passwords.

Law wrote that she told Andreen that she was going through with the divorce filing on July 7, 2025.

‘Due to Keith’s financial situation and fear that he would retaliate against me if I asked him to move out, we still continue to live with each other,’ she said. ‘However, for the reasons detailed … I no longer feel safe living in the same house with him.’

She alleged that Andreen had begun taking ‘Ketamine Treatments for some unknown reason,’ which she claimed had made him ‘completely unstable’ and escalated his ‘threatening and obsessive behavior.’

According to the temporary restraining order, Andreen is ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from her, including when she’s at home, at her workplace, in her vehicle and at their daughter’s school.

Law, who filed for divorce on August 11, was granted use of her and Andreen’s 2024 Audi Q8, and their dog and two cats were also left in her possession for the time being.

The judge also ordered that Andreen may not ‘surveil or use any tracking device to monitor movement’ of his estranged wife, and he’s not allowed to remove funds from a bank account that he and Law had established for their daughter.

As part of the restraining order, Law’s ex is required to either sell or turn over any firearms he may possess to law enforcement or an authorized firearms dealer for safekeeping.

Law and Andreen will next have a video conference with a mediator on January 12 to determine custody arrangements for their daughter and a potential visitation schedule.

Andreen previously spoke exclusively about Law’s divorce filing with the Daily Mail in October.

When he was asked why he has refused to disclose why Law had filed for divorce, he replied, ‘I cannot because I have a daughter who will grow up someday to be an adult and read these statements, and my only goal is to wrap my daughter in a blanket of protection.’

Andreen was also asked if reconciliation could be on the table for the former couple.

‘Well, now you’re starting to sound like my therapist. That was an extremely complicated question,’ he said. ‘I will say that if we did not have a child, there would be no chance of me considering reconciling because we have a child.

‘I cannot fully close the door on that possibility, but that is not my decision to make and it’s not up to me to do the work on that,’ he added.

Andreen was effusive when it came to the daughter he and Law share.

‘I’ve got a six-and-a-half-year-old daughter who means absolutely everything in the world to me… my daughter is my entire life, and Katrina is the mother of my daughter. And I was with her for 19 years.’
