Nashvilles Hottest Couple: Secrets, Cheating, Drama!

Once considered Nashville's hottest couple, actor  and country singer  have been through the ringer this past year.

After what was believed to be a joyful reuniting after months of on-again-off-again drama, fans were left devastated as the pair traded barbs through vicious lyrics and snarky social media posts, all while struggling to shake persistent cheating rumors. 

When Stokes showed off his new tattoo demonstrating how he was 'moving forward' it felt like the final nail in the coffin for their troubled romance. 

But clearly he didn't get very far, as insiders have exclusively confirmed to the Daily Mail that the couple are giving it yet another go, with Stokes, 33, proudly telling friends that Ballerini, 32, is his girlfriend... again.

'Chase and Kelsea are 100 percent back together,' a source said, adding that the couple are 'really happy' despite the ups and downs. 

The news comes days after feverish speculation took hold following a sighting of the couple enjoying a long walk together on the West Side Highway in  in late April. Sources at the time denied to TMZ that they were back on.

, with their hectic schedules allowing little freedom for quality time together, but, we are told, 'they are committed to making it work this time around.' 

The pair are said to be splitting their time between Nashville and New York to spend 'as much time as possible together' and are even living together whenever they are in the same city.

'Kelsea has been in New York a lot but her travel schedule has been stressful and challenging for Chase,' the insider said. 'They go long periods of time sometimes without seeing each other and that's hard and ultimately what leads to the splits.’

So how did they reunite?

‘They didn't stop talking, but it's been on-and-off a bit for a while,' the source revealed. 

Country singer Ballerini was first linked to Out Banks star Stokes in late 2022 before they attended a football game together in January 2023. After playing it coy in interviews, they made their first official public appearance as a couple at the CMT Awards in Nashville that April.

From there, the relationship was equal parts tumultuous and passionate. 

When things were good, Ballerini would even openly talked about their sex life, praising Stokes' bedroom performance.

'I didn’t understand how [sex] could be a real connector in a relationship,' she told podcaster Alex Cooper in 2023. 'I always thought it was just something that you did... Now, I realize it’s a connector for people.'

But she would also hint at tensions, once describing her and Stokes as 'yin and yang' and revealing how their schedules 'flip flopped,' leaving little time to see each other.
