In the new trailer for the series, the beloved duo are seen facing off against the boss Rotta the Hutt, the son of Jabba the Hutt.
The Bear star has been cast as of Rotta, who has Djarin presented before him on his knees in a scene teased in the trailer.
Djarin's helmet is then torn off and his real face is exposed onscreen for the first time since a 2020 episode of the second season of The Mandalorian.
Sci-fi icon Sigourney has also joined the franchise as Ward, a veteran of the Rebel Alliance from George Lucas' original Star Wars trilogy.
The Mandalorian is set after the events of those movies, and in the new film, Djarin is hired by Ward to eliminate various villainous creatures that continue to stalk the galaxy in the wake of the fall of the Empire.
'We'll take out every bad guy in your deck of cards,' Djarin assures Ward as she gives him a hit list in the trailer for The Mandalorian and Grogu.
