The Campari Passion for Film Award is a prize at the Venice International Film Festival to honour film professionals.

This year, American director Gus Van Sant, who has directed Good Will Hunting, My Own Private Idaho, Drugstore Cowboy, Milk, Elephant, was the recipient.

The award celebrates those who channel their love of cinema into bold creativity, leaving a lasting impact on the craft.

The awards comes just days after singer Sabrina Carpenter enlisted a well-known actor for her latest music video.

The 26-year-old singer-songwriter’s new album Man’s Best Friend came out on Friday, coinciding with the release of the second single Tears and its accompanying video.

The five-minute visual was inspired by The Rocky Horror Picture Show and starts with the petite performer collecting herself in a field after a car wreck.

The Sing Sing star shocked fans as he performed in several showstopping looks, including red lingerie and a voluminous ginger wig.

One excited fan on the social media app X wrote that the Philadelphia-bred actor ‘was a scene stealer.’

Meanwhile, Colman joked on his personal X account, ‘Didn’t see that coming, did ya?’

He added a crying laughing emoji and thanked the pop star by using a fun nickname as he wrote, ‘Thank you Sabs for inviting me to truly play.’

A fan reposted it and added, ‘Colman Domingo in drag was not on my 2025 Bingo card but I’ll take it.’

There was also someone who predicted Colman will appear on the British talk show The Graham Norton Show to discuss his cameo.

‘Can’t wait for Colman Domingo to go on Graham Norton and talk about the music video lol I swear he’s on the show every season,’ the social media user posted.

Sabrina, known for pushing the envelope with her brazen lyrics and risqué style, stripped down to stockings and suspenders to pole dance in one music video scene.

The hitmaker crawled on all-fours in the new clip while looking seductively at the camera with a ‘come hither’ stare.

Lyrics of the catchy new pop tune include the lines, ‘I get wet at the thought of you / Being a responsible guy, treating me like you’re supposed to do / Tears run down my thighs.’

Sabrina announced her new album Man’s Best Friend in June, getting fans riled up with the provocative cover, which feature the blonde bombshell on all fours with an anonymous man clutching a fistful of her hair.

One critic said online, ‘I get she’s going for transgressive but this is the opposite of transgressive in this era. She looks dumb.’

The entertainer responded to her detractors last week while appearing on CBS Morning.

‘It is not for the pearl clutchers. The album is not for any pearl clutchers, no,’ she told host Gayle King. ‘But I also think that even pearl clutchers can listen to an album like that in their own solitude and find something that makes them smirk and chuckle to themselves.’
