Motherland Stars Trade School Run for Wimbledon Tennis

and Philippa Dunne turned heads at as the Motherland stars swapped the school run for SW19. 

Anna, 49, rubbed shoulders with the likes of and in the Royal Box, which her Motherland character Julia would have dreamed of. 

The British actress braved the heatwave as she dressed to impress in a long sleeved black and white floral dress which boasted a bold ruffled collar. 

Elevating her frame in a pair of white stilettos, Anna toted her belongings in a woven basket handbag and donned a pair of large sunglasses. 

Styling her blonde tresses in a neat ponytail, the star looked in good spirits as she took her seat to watch Karolina Muchova and compete for a place in the Wimbledon 2026 finals. 

Meanwhile co-star Philippa looked worlds away from her school-gate mum character Anne Flynn in the hit series as she stunned in an all white outfit from ME+EM. 

The Irish actress looked incredible as she tucked a white T-shirt into a stylish long slit pleated maxi skirt and cinched in her waist with a coordinated belt. 

Philippa added the Icon Oversized blazer in navy from ME+M over the outfit and accessorised with a pair of chunky gold earrings and navy heels. 

The star was joined in the Emirates hospitality by her glamorous mother Catherine, who stunned in a pink blouse and coordinated floral trousers.

The actress said her role as harried mum Julia in the BBC sitcom - which aired between 2016 to 2022 - was the one she was most recognised for and shared her pride for the show.

However, she revealed that her daughters were less than impressed by the beloved sitcom, branding it too 'embarrassing' to watch.

Speaking to The Sunday Times, Anna insisted that Motherland came to a 'natural end' after three series and she hadn't been disappointed to say goodbye.

'We weren’t sad because we felt we’d done really good work and were proud', the Until I Kill You star explained.

But despite heaping praise on spin-off Amandaland, which sees stars Lucy Punch, Joanna Lumley and Philippa reprising their roles as Amanda, Felicity and Anne, she won't be making an appearance.
