This Morning descended into chaos on Monday when a cat and a pony came face-to-face in the studio.
Hosts Rylan and Emma Willis were attempting to present a segment on pampered pets and when they invited Coco the cat and Teddy the pony onto the famous blue sofa.
Yet within seconds the section went into meltdown as a frightened Coco leapt out from her owner’s arms and began running around the studio.
Attempting to find the scared moggy, Rylan, 35, began clambering over the sofa to try and find Coco’s hiding spot, but the commotion only aided in spooking Teddy, who began whinnying and attempting to break free from his owner’s grip.
With the ITV studios beginning to resemble a farmyard, the presenters quickly threw to an advert break before running to retrieve Coco from underneath the Christmas tree.

Viewers were not impressed by the antics, taking to X – formerly Twitter – to label the scenes ‘shambolic’ and express their sympathy for the freaked out feline.
Fans penned: ‘Hope that horse does a massive dump #Thismorning’; ‘Why on earth would you put a pony and a cat in the same room?!! Who don’t know each other! I have both and I really can’t get my head around it #ThisMorning’;

This is far from the first time animals have run amok in the This Morning studios.
Former presenters Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby were left in hysterics in January when they spent time with with Ham, the ‘UK’s naughtiest duck’.
Ham is a local feathered celebrity in Lancashire due to his cheeky antics, with the bird often spotted enjoying walks or car rides in the town.
The four-year-old Indian Runner Duck proved to be the perfect guest, sitting calmly and quietly until Holly offered him a cup of tea.
Having learned from his owner that Ham was a fan of a warm brew, Holly couldn’t resist offering up her mug.

Monday’s show had started on a better note, with fans thrilled to see former Big Brother presenters Emma and Rylan reunite to present the daytime show
Yet she hasn’t always been so calm and collected and had to jump up onto the sofa and cower in fear behind Phillip when Ingrid Tarrant brought her pet pig George onto the programme.
While Holly squealed at the sight of pet pig George, Phillip appeared enamoured with the creature and ended up giving it a smooch after saying ‘kissy kissy’.
The fearful presenter admitted: ‘Anything but a medium sized dog, I am a little bit frightened.’
Ingrid attempted to reassure Holly by saying: ‘He’s fine, he’s not going to eat you!, however Holly quipped back: ‘I’ve seen his teeth!’
Yet it was former co-host Emily Atack, who fared the least well with her animal co-stars, previously revealing she was left ‘traumatised’ after dropping a lamb live on air while presenting This Morning.
Meanwhile, Monday’s show started on a better note, with fans thrilled to see Emma and Rylan reunite to present the daytime show.
Emma hosted Big Brother during its previous incarnation on Channel 5 , while Rylan fronted sister show Bit On The Side, and they have hosted This Morning together in the past.
Emma has replaced Cat Deeley, who hosted This Morning alongside Rylan earlier this month.
Opening the programme, Rylan said: ‘Hello and welcome to another week of This Morning – and welcome back the one and only, Emma Willis!’
The former Big Brother duo then shared a heartwarming embrace to applause from around the studio, before Rylan added: ‘They love you!’
Emma responded: ‘It’s been a minute hasn’t it?’ to which Rylan joked: ‘We can’t get out of each other’s pockets can we?’
Emma continued: ‘Five years, its been. I was thinking about it the other day that it has been five years since I last did it. But no, five years.’
Rylan added: ‘Five years. That’s quite frightening’, as Emma responded ‘Five years but we have seen each other a lot since then – including Friday night.’

Rylan went on to explain that the pair went to a Kylie Minogue show at the Royal Albert Hall before hilarious footage was shown of him clearing confetti from the pop princess’ stage at her request.
He has been tipped as the bookies favourite to land a permanent stint on the show, and replace Phillip Schofield.
William Hill announced that Rylan has 5/4 odds to take over from Phillip and more recently Holly Willoughby who left the show amid shocking kidnap and murder threats.
Rylan, is currently presenting the show on a temporary rotating basis, and has joined stars including Cat, and Josie Gibson .
