Molly Ringwald turned heads as a runway model on Tuesday at the Batsheva New York Fashion Week show.
The 55-year-old Sixteen Candles star — who was recently compared to Lily Allen — channeled the 80s as she wore a purple dress inspired by the decade.
The Golden Globe nominee was one of a slew of models over the age of 40 cast for the presentation.
Ringwald’s bright plum look boasted voluminous shoulder padding and a belt that cinched her trim waist.
She also modeled a second look, a more modern black dress with a lace hand warmer muff and veil.

Molly’s purple getup was complete with an embossed floral pattern and silver-toned stud accents.
The look was rounded out with a pair of pointy-toe white high heels.
Her signature red-toned locks were blown straight and arranged with face-framing bangs.
Each of the figure-hugging dresses worn by the longtime actress were below-the-knee length.
With the short-sleeved black ensemble, the Breakfast Club star wore black high heels with lace detail.
Ringwald looked beautiful with her face made up with lots of black mascara and a matte, pink lipstick.
Her long, almond-shaped nails were coated in a glossy red polish as she confidently strolled the catwalk.
Joining her on the runway were journalist Amy Fine Collins and actress Ione Skye.

The new Batsheva collection took inspiration from the divine feminine and borrowed from historical references while infusing modern fabrics and color.
Earlier in the day Ringwald attended the Helmut Lang show, which took place in Brooklyn.
She wore a black suit with a mustard yellow button-up shirt underneath, and added fingerless black leather gloves.
Ringwald currently stars in the FX series Feud: Capote vs. The Swans.
