Molly Ringwald was joined by her stylish daughter Mathilda Ereni Gianopoulos at the American Ballet Theater Fall Gala in New York on Tuesday.
The Breakfast Club star, 55 – who recently got candid about cancel culture – stunned in a floor-length champagne glittering gown, which she paired with a nude clutch and pointed-toe red heels.
The actress’ auburn tresses were pinned up in a chic updo for the event, hosted at the Lincoln Center’s David H. Koch Theater. As for glam, she rocked a bright red lipstick and smokey eyeshadow.
Meanwhile Mathilda, 20, dazzled in a sparkling silver above-the-knee dress with open-toe nude heels.
This year’s gala honored journalist Katie Couric, 66, for ‘her dedication to creativity and the incredible generosity she’s extended to ABT over many years.’

Mathilda wore her raven tresses cascading down her shoulders and back, and opted for dark blue eyeshadow to highlight her eyes.

The couple tied the knot in 2007 and have a total of three kids together. Aside from Mathilda they are also parents to 14-year-old twins Roman and Adele.
The Brat Pack actress opened up in 2021 on Sirius XM’s Radio Andy about raising her kids, and whether or not she’s showed them her early movies.
‘It definitely is a different time. People ask me if I’ve watched them with my kids, and I did watch the first one … with Mathilda,’ she said.
‘And it was such an emotional experience that I haven’t found that strength to watch it with my two other kids,’ she added.
Mathilda is following in her mother’s footsteps as an actress, and earned her first film role in Michael Showalter’s film ‘The Idea of You’, currently in post-production, and starring Anne Hathaway.
Ringwald told Yahoo! News in August 2021: ‘My [eldest] daughter wants to be an actress. She’s pretty serious about it.’
In 2017, Mathilda also made her modeling debut with a campaign for J. Crew, and was part of Andrew Warren’s New York Fashion Week show in 2020.
