Molly Hurwitz, the former fiancée of the late Matthew Perry, emerged on Monday in Los Angeles as she took her dog for a walk.

The literary agent was pictured getting some fresh air just days after DailyMail.com reported that the Friends star — who died in October after accidentally drowning in his hot tub while under the influence of a massive amount of ketamine — had been ‘abusive’ toward her, as well as multiple other women.

The revelation followed a close friend of the sitcom star telling DailyMail.com in December that he was ‘never’ completely free of drugs in his final years.

Sources with knowledge of Perry and Hurwitz’s brief engagement revealed that he allegedly ‘threw a coffee table at her’ after she broke up with him around Valentine’s Day after she discovered a romantic gesture he made toward another woman.

On Monday, Hurwitz was spotted looked relaxed in a casual outfit while getting some exercise in a residential neighborhood with her dog.

She was dressed in a powder blue sweatshirt with comfortable white sweatpants, as well as a set of matching white sneakers.

Hurwitz layered up with a puffy black down jacket for the chilly outing, and she wore her long raven curls cascading down her shoulders, while they framed her stylish black sunglasses.

She was walking a medium-sized brown dog that appeared to be some kind of poodle mix.

The dog seemed to be smaller than the brown doodle mix Alfred, the dog that her late ex Perry adopted in 2021, shortly before the end of their engagement.

Hurwitz was later seen out with the dog, and she shared photos of him on Instagram after her relationship had dissolved, though it was unclear if she had taken ownership of him or if she and Perry had been sharing custody.

On the same day as her walk, the literary agent posted a cute photo of the dog on Instagram. It panted adorably while looking up at the camera, but the caption was comically unrelated and featured Perry’s ex complaining that The Bear and Abbott Elementary were impossible to compare due to their diverging styles, despite both being comedies of a sort.

Hurwitz has been keeping a low profile lately following DailyMail.com’s report that she was one of several women who were victims of Perry’s violent outbursts.

The couple began dating in 2018, and they announced their engagement on social media in November of 2020.

However, the two appeared to quietly call things off in 2021 and go their separate ways.

They publicly announced the end of their engagement in the summer of 2021 after it was revealed that Perry had been flirting with 19-year-old on the celebrity dating app Raya.

However, sources with knowledge of the couple’s relationship said they ended their engagement months earlier than believed following a Valentine’s Day argument in February.

They said Hurwitz had confronted the 17 Again actor after she discovered her had bought a gift — intended as a romantic gesture — for another woman that he had met on a dating app.

Perry didn’t take the confrontation well.

‘He threw a coffee table at her and told her that she was crazy,’ the sources said.

‘He hated that she dumped him,’ they said, adding that he had ‘terrible abandonment issues.’

Hurwitz declined to comment about the alleged incident.

Perry put a different spin on the breakup in his 2022 memoir Friends, Lovers, And The Big Terrible Thing.

He wrote that he had popped the question to her in November 2020 while under the influence of drugs in a hospital.

In his 2022 memoir, he wrote that he proposed to her in the hospital while high on drugs, but the sources said he was not in hospital and wasn’t high at the time. They said he invented those details to be hurtful toward his ex

‘I was high on 1,800 milligrams of hydrocodone when I asked her to marry me… high as a kite,’ he wrote. ‘I was slowly beginning to realize that I was engaged, lived with a woman and two dogs… I was not ready for any of this… Needless to say, we broke up.’

But the sources denied his account of the proposal, and suggested that he invented the most damning details as a cruel gesture to Hurwitz.

They clarified that he wasn’t in the hospital when he proposed, and neither was he high at the time.

Representatives for the late actor declined to comment.
