Moana Hope has revealed she spent New Year’s Eve at the hospital with her girlfriend Maria Thattil after her son Ahi fell ill.
The AFLW star, 30, said she took her one-year-old son, whom she shares with former wife Isabella Carlstrom, to hospital but he is doing better now.
She shared a photo to Instagram of little Ahi sitting on a hospital bed while watching a cartoon on an iPad and wrote: ‘Where we spent New Year’s Eve. He is ok.’
Moana also posted a photo of her model girlfriend Maria embracing the young boy.
‘Grateful to have you,’ she captioned the post.

Maria reposted the sweet image to her page and said: ‘NYE looked a little different.’
‘First time for overnight baby cuddles in hospital. But how good that this little guy is getting better.’
The couple have been dating for the past few months following Moana’s split from her ex-wife, Isabella, with whom she shares two children.
In September, she slammed criticism herself and Maria had got together too soon following her split.
An emotionally-charged Moana took to Instagram saying there were no hard and fast rules for when to move on when you separate.

‘Can they send me the book on how to be separated?’ she said in the video.
‘Is there an index section in that book that says how long you should have to wait to be separated from someone before you find happiness?’
She went on to say the choice to move on is up to her.
‘Whether I am dating one person or multiple people… Whatever decision I make for me is my choice. I don’t need to follow some book,’ she said.
The sportswoman added that she was the ‘happiest she had been in a long time’ with Maria, adding her mental health had also improved.

‘If I decide to date… That’s my choice. I do not need anyone to tell me what is acceptable,’ she said.
Moana split-up with Isabella last May explaining they’d tried ‘everything to get their relationship back on track’ but she ‘didn’t feel the same as she used to’.
Maria also recently went through a high-profile breakup, after she and her TikTok star ex-girlfriend Jorgia O’Hare, announced their split in June.
