Former KIIS FM star Mitch Churi has revealed a major career change.
The media personality, 28, was suddenly let go from his KIIS FM presenting role in a shock move that blindsided him in November.
After a ‘one-off’ cameo stint with Nova in January, Mitch has revealed the next phase in his career.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Mitch revealed that he had been poached by Aussie streaming service Stan.
He shared two photos that showed a clearly chuffed Mitch holding a Stan-branded microphone in front of a white Stan logo.
Captioning the images, Mitch revealed that he had finally landed his ‘dream job.’

‘World’s best job: secured,’ Mitch exclaimed. ‘Officially part of the @stanaustralia family starting today.’
While he did not reveal what his new title at the streamer will be, Mitch did share some of the enviable job responsibilities.
‘The job is literally sitting and watching shows and movies. #blessed,’ he added.
‘Stan truly are the pioneers of aussie made series & films and are doing THE MOST for local talent and creatives in this country. Their newest slate of content was announced today and it has me so excited.
Mitch continued: ‘As someone who has years of acting school under their belt this almost feels.. like the perfect gig? We have no choice but to stan, Stan.’
The post was met with many congratulatory comments from friends and followers including fellow media personality Beau Ryan who penned: Awesome news, my man.’
Mitch’s former KIIS FM star Laura Byrne also jumped in with a warm: ‘So proud of you,
A third follower added: ‘SO HAPPY FOR YOU MITCH! Can’t wait to see you continue to thrive in this new chapter, Stan are beyond lucky to have you.’

Mitch’s new career chapter comes after he was brutally axed from his on-air hosting gig at KIIS FM in November.
He had hosted The Night Show with Mitch Churi since 2019, as well as co-hosting The Pick Up with Brittany Hockley and Laura Byrne.
Mitch announced live on-air in November that he had been informed by KIIS FM management his contract would not be renewed, sending shock-waves across the network.
‘Late last week I was informed by the powers that be that they have identified my role here as one that won’t be returning in 2025,’ Mitch began.
Mitch then revealed he was blindsided by the decision and he wished it had not come to this.
‘I just want to say it wasn’t my decision or my call. I really wanted to stay on the show with you two. I really wanted to stay with KIIS.’
Co-star Laura Byrne jumped in to say she and Laura fully supported Mitch and wished him all the best for the future.
‘This is not what we want for the show. It’s a decision that has been made out of our control.

‘Britt and I have to continue on doing the show without you and we are utterly devastated,’ Laura said.
‘You are not only our co-host, but also one of our best friends,’ Brittany chipped in.
Laura and Brittany were also seen putting on a brave face as they posed alongside a beaming Mitch, who held a bouquet of flowers, at his farewell party at the KIIS FM studio in Sydney.
They captioned the gallery with some heartfelt words: ‘Today is our last show of the year and our last as a trio with the amazing, hilarious, spectacular, hot walking human Mitch Churi.
‘It has been one of the biggest privileges of my career to sit across the desk from this funny man.
‘We are all so proud of you Mitch and will be front row of your stand up show in 2025 (no backing out now).
‘We love you Mitch,’ they added.
