Mis-Teeq star Su-Elise Nash revealed she’s suffered a miscarriage in a heartbreaking post.
The singer, 43, took to Instagram on Monday to reveal she had planned to announce her pregnancy that day but ‘life had changed in 24 hours’ and she had tragically lost her baby.
Su-Elise, who has a three-year-old son named Blu with partner Ryan St David Jones, also revealed that she had suffered another miscarriage in the past.
She shared her anguish at having her seen her unborn baby’s beating, noting there had been no issues at the scan.
Su-Elise, who lives in Sydney, Australia with her partner and son, announced the news with a picture where she was cradling her stomach – revealing this was meant to be the picture she used for her pregnancy announcement.
She shared: ‘It’s crazy how your life can change in 24 hours. This was supposed to be a beautiful pregnancy announcement but here we are, grieving, heartbroken and trying to come to terms with having another miscarriage.’

Su-Elise continued: This was cruel and unjust. We saw your heart beating, it was so strong.
‘Even though you were a total surprise we wanted you so badly. We felt like all our stars had aligned and we were ready, sooooooo ready for you.
‘I wish I knew WHY your heart gave up. I wish I could have helped you.
‘My darling angel it just wasn’t our time for some cruel fated reason that we’ll never understand.But you’ll always be ours, mummy and daddy will love you forever.
‘I so wish we could have had the happy ending that I know we all deserved. I love you so much, thank you for being my everything.’
Su-Elise previously lived in South London but moved to Australia’s Central Coast with her partner to raise their son and launch a sustainable swimwear line, called SUZU swimwear.
The singer rose to fame in the early noughties as part of popular British girl group Mis-Teeq alongside Alesha Dixon and Sabrina Washington.
The group were arguably best-known for their smash hit Scandalous and soared to global success during their five years together until their 2005 split.
They released two top-ten albums and seven consecutive top-ten singles, with chart-topping success on the UK Singles Chart as well as across the rest of the world, selling over 12 million records globally.
Their second album – 2003’s Eye Candy – featured their biggest international hit -Scandalous – which peaked at No.2 on the United States charts.
The group announced their separation in February 2005, with Su-Elise later going back to college to study for her teaching qualifications to teach dance.
In 2007, Su-Elise opened her very own performing arts school, called the Su-Elise Stage School.
In 2022, her Mis-Teeq bandmate Alesha ruled out a reunion, nearly two decades after the popular girl group disbanded.
She said they have no plans to reunite any time soon, despite all remaining close friends almost two decades after calling time on the R&B group.
‘There won’t be a Mis-Teeq reunion anytime soon,’ she said on This Morning. ‘I caught up with Su-Elise in Australia. She lives there now. Our babies were playing together. The Mis-Teeq babies!’
