Miranda Kerr Stuns Despite Wardrobe Mishap at Awards

Miranda Kerr has brushed off a wardrobe mishap with trademark composure while stepping out in a striking butter-yellow gown at a foundation event in Beverly Hills, .

The 43-year-old model and entrepreneur was being honoured at the Living Beauty Cancer Foundation’s 2026 spring luncheon on Wednesday, when the back zip of her designer gown suddenly broke as she approached the podium.

Despite the mishap, Miranda continued on with her trademark style, effectively delivering her speech while facing forward to ensure the malfunction remained out of sight.

Later, she took the incident in stride when speaking to People, explaining: 'I was like, "My zipper broke. That's why I'm walking like this, not showing my back." But it's still broken, and hopefully I'll be able to get out of it because it couldn't go up and down.

'But that's okay, we're all human.'

During her speech, Miranda briefly publicly acknowledged the mishap, saying: 'My zip just broke in the back, but that's okay, it happens. You're looking at me from the front... worse things have happened.'

She also joked about a past fashion incident, recalling: 'I've actually lost a shoe before... and a heel went flying through the audience. Lucky that didn't happen today!' 

Miranda was recognised for her commitment to wellness and social impact, with the event raising funds for programs supporting women living with cancer, which are provided free of charge to those affected. 

The Sydney-born model stunned in a butter-yellow halterneck gown featuring a twisted knot detail at the bust and a clean, fitted silhouette through the body.

She paired the look with strappy nude heels, a chunky gold cuff bracelet and diamond hoop earrings, adding a sharper edge to the otherwise soft, minimalist styling.

Her hair was worn sleek and pulled back with loose tresses framing her face, keeping the focus on the gown and her features.

Meanwhile, Miranda's makeup was fresh and glowing with dewy skin, a subtle smoky eye, and defined brows, ensuring all eyes were on her throughout the exclusive event.
