Millie Bobby Brown penned a sweet anniversary note to her husband Jake Bongiovi after adopting a baby together.
This Sunday marked their first wedding anniversary, and the 21-year-old actress took to Instagram to share a tribute to Bongiovi, 23, on the special occasion.
This comes one month after the pair became first-time parents when they announced they had welcomed their baby together via adoption.
‘One year married,’ the Stranger Things star wrote in her caption alongside a white heart emoji on their wedding anniversary date and a photo from the day they got married. ‘I love being your wife.’
Bongiovi, who is the nepo baby son of Jon Bon Jovi, also shared a photo of them from their first look photoshoot on their wedding day and wrote in his caption: ‘One year in the books, many more to go.
‘I love you so much my beautiful wife. Happy anniversary.’

Back in June 2021, Brown and Bongiovi sparked dating rumors when he shared a photo of them together alongside a ‘Bff <3’ caption.
When she celebrted her 18th birthday in February 2022, he posted an Instagram tribute to her, writing, ‘Happy birthday barbie ily <3,’ alongside a photo of them dressed up in a couple’s costume as Barbie and Ken. ‘Endless love,’ she commented on the post.
The following month, they made their red carpet debut at the BAFTA Film Awards, and later that same year, Brown revealed that they met on Instagram during an appearance on WIRED’s Web’s Most Searched Questions.
In April 2023, they announced their engagement and ‘quietly’ got married a year later in May 2024.
Following their low-key ceremony, the pair held a bigger wedding ceremony at the Villa Cetinale in Italy in September.
Just weeks prior to the anniversary, the pair announced on social media that they adopted a baby in a joint statement.
‘This summer we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption. We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy. And then there were 3,’ they announced on August 21.
The pair did not reveal their daughter’s name, but Brown has shared first look photos of her and her husband’s experience as first-time parents.
She has since posted photos of them traveling with a car seat and diaper bags during their glamorous outings.

Earlier this year, she opened up about her desire to become a mother. During an appearance on the Smartless podcast, which is hosted by Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett, the actress said that although she knows she is ‘really young,’ she is looking forward to motherhood.
‘My mom actually had her first child at 21, and my dad was 19. And you know, it’s been my thing since before I met Jake,’ she explained.
‘Since I was a baby… I wanted to be a mom just like the way my mom was to me. And my nan, my grandmother is, she was a huge part of my life. ‘And so, yeah, I mean, Jake knows how important it is to me and, of course, I want to focus on really establishing myself as an actor and as a producer, but I also find it’s so important to start a family for me personally,’ she continued.
‘It’s a huge thing. Jake was like, we cannot do that until we get married. So that was his thing.’ Brown then added: ‘And my thing was, I really want a family. I really want a big family.’
‘I’m one of four. He’s one of four. So, it is definitely in our future, but, for me, I don’t see having your own child, you know, as really any different [from] adopting.’

She went on to say: ‘My home is full of love for anyone and anything, and so that is what we kind of stand by, Jake and I, our energy in the house is “the door is always open”, and we want everyone to feel really comfortable.’
Her comments come just a few weeks after she opened up to Vanity Fair in February about her relationship with Bongiovi and how they’re ‘pretty united’ on major topics.
‘We talked about our political views, what kind of family we want to build, the kind of home we want to live in, the kind of relationship we’re looking for, the kind of careers we want,’ she told the publication.
‘It’s such an important decision, and we wanted to make sure we were making the right one. I knew I was. It always felt right with him.’
