Millie Bobby Brown reminisced over her time on Stranger Things saying she is ‘nowhere near ready to leave’ the series while filming the show’s final episode.
On Friday, the 20-year-old actress took to her Instagram page to share an emotional video of her final tribute where she choked up thanking the cast and crew.
And on her final day filming the Netflix hit, she wept: ‘Isn’t graduation supposed to bring relief? Like you’re glad to leave behind the teachers and classmates. Not me.
‘I am nowhere near ready to leave you guys. I love each and every one of you and I will forever carry the memories and bonds we created together as a family. I love you, thank you,’ she added.
After breaking down in tears after her on-set speech, the actress was met by a sweet embrace from one of her coworkers as well claps from others.
Filming began in January and although an official release date has not been posted, Netflix has confirmed Stranger Things season 5 will hit the platform in 2025. Earlier on Friday, the streaming giant revealed that production had wrapped on the final episode via X.

Last month, Netflix unveiled the titles of the eight episodes from the final season of its hit horror/sci-fi series.
Episode one is titled The Crawl, episode two is The Vanishing of … , episode three is called The Turnbow Trap, episode four is Sorcerer, episode five is Shock Jock, episode six is called Escape from Camazotz, episode seven is The Bridge and the final is The Rightside Up.
The series finale episode is fittingly called The Rightside Up as a full-circle nod to the 2016 pilot titled The Upside Down.
Millie came to fame at 12 years-old when she played Eleven on Stranger Things.
And back in March she told the Today show: ‘We’re filming right now and it feels good. It’s our last season. We’re really excited to be back together again for one last hurrah.’
Reflecting on her journey, she expressed mixed emotions about bidding adieu to the character that catapulted her to stardom in an interview with ComingSoon in February.
She admitted, ‘It does feel sad. Every day we go on set, we’re like, it is the last second day, the last third day. But we’re definitely embracing it all.’
Despite parting ways with her beloved character Eleven, the wife of Jake Bongiovi has previously indicated readiness to explore new horizons.
In March she told CBR, ‘I’m definitely ready to wrap up. I feel like there’s a lot of the story that’s been told now… I’m able to create stories myself that are important to me and focus on the bigger picture.’
