Mickey Rourke was slammed for his ‘creepy’ behaviour towards AJ Odudu during the launch of Celebrity Big Brother on Monday.
Viewers were left horrified when within minutes of his arrival, the Hollywood actor, 72, was seen leering at the ITV host, 37, who appeared visibly uncomfortable.
And it has now been revealed that the Wrestler star received 89 Ofcom complaints following the awkward interaction.
AJ’s co-host Will Best was praised by fans for protecting her as he stepped in and pulled Mickey back from AJ after he grabbed her arm.

Will then added: ‘Don’t take AJ with you!’ and was later seen holding her hand as they presented their next live link.

‘No female TV presenter should be made to feel like AJ just did. He shouldn’t have been allowed on this show if he can’t control himself around women. I hated that ngl.’
‘There’s surely no way Mickey Rourke doesn’t either walk or get booted out for being inappropriate.’
Meanwhile body language expert Judi James has warned Mickey’s ‘trait of taking control’ could land him in further trouble in the house.
Body language expert Judi James has warned Mickey’s ‘trait of taking control’ could land him in further trouble in the house.
‘His trait of taking control came during two key moments: one when he just got up to pick himself for the prize room rather than waiting for a group decision (no team player there!)
‘And then there was the controlling twirling and torso-bumping of our AJ and the long glances of admiration that might not have sat well with a modern audience,’ Judi explained to Paddy Power Games.
‘Has anyone ever needed to be physically pushed into the House before?
‘The way Rourke stood there telling AJ “I want to stay with you” as she was trying to load him in through the door was a less than impressive act of control.’
