Michelle Keegan has caught the eye of Hollywood film executives following the success of Netflix series Fool Me Once, MailOnline can reveal.
The actress, 36, stars alongside Joanna Lumley in the hit thriller, which is an adaptation of US author Harlan Coben’s award winning novel.
And after impressing as military pilot Maya Stern, who believes she sees her dead husband on her nanny-cam, top movie bosses are keen to make Michelle the latest Brit actress to conquer the big screen.
The former Corrie favourite, who has also starred in BBC TV dramas Our Girl and Ten Pound Poms, plus Sky comedy Brassic, has been inundated with movie scripts and proposals for potential new roles.
And her standing in the industry will be further cemented on Friday night when Michelle is a guest for the first time on the Graham Norton Show, sitting on the sofa with The Crown actor Dominic West.

A source told MailOnline: ‘The response to Fool Me Once has been overwhelming.
‘The phone calls and offers have been coming in from Hollywood film executives, it’s different to anything Michelle has experienced before.
‘Netflix is a global platform and the show has given her the opportunity to shine.
‘Her career has already been a success but now her star is rising, everyone can feel that this is the beginning of something special.
‘Michelle feels lucky that she’s always played likeable characters but now she’s hoping to take it up a notch by landing a film role.
‘She aspires to play a dark character in a hard-hitting thriller, which will be a challenge that she’s completely ready for.’
Michelle, who’s married to presenter Mark Wright, 36, has previously admitted to fearing that she would never work again after her character Tina was killed off in Coronation Street.
But she’s since surpassed her own expectations by landing multiple TV roles and now playing the lead in Netflix series Fool Me Once, which has been produced by Nicola Shindler, who was also behind Happy Valley.

Absolutely Fabulous star Joanna says she was taken by Michelle’s work ethic on the eight-part drama, which was released on New Year’s Day
Michelle has been married to presenter Mark Wright since 2015 and the couple live together in a newly renovated Essex mansion
Absolutely Fabulous star Joanna, 77, says she was taken by Michelle’s work ethic on the eight-part drama, which was released on New Year’s Day.
Indeed, Joanna admitted that she ‘cruised’ onto set at various points, whereas Michelle worked flat out for six months.
Joanna said: ‘This one came into work every single day.
‘Some of us just cruised in the odd shot, this one worked from February to August flat out. She’s just a babe… literally a babe.’
In a recent interview with the Guardian, Michelle says she established a hardworking ethos on set of Coronation Street, as she discussed the stigma attached to playing soap roles.
She said: ‘In the industry, there’s a lot of snobbery surrounding soaps.
‘But I feel like it’s the best learning experience, working with three different directors in one day, bouncing between different storylines – one minute I was crying over a death, then I was giving birth – it is such a unique experience.
‘But it’s rare that soap gets any recognition. There’s a lot of ‘stuff’ surrounding it, because it’s seen as working class – people look down on it.’
